3. My Jazz 5 is road worn,by me,the proper way,7 or 8 years of dings, scratches, buckle rash, tarnished plating. But it is kept in perfect working order,i.e,bridge saddle screws/machineheads regularly taken apart and oiled. It is just a tool after all.Re-sale value,do'nt care,it's never going to be sold.
4. "you're always fiddling about with me,why do'nt you play the other strings, you never give me compliments like you used to,always picking faults" sorry.
5. I like that.
6. Have you still got it ? Have you ripped the frets out yet ?
7. Machine head..................if you have access to a vice, compress to try tightening the rivet that way.If you do'nt,lay the machinehead on a hammer,or at least something metal and sturdy,i.e,the flat of a spanner or large screwdriver, and strike the rivet with another hammer.
8. AND,after chatting to one of my heroes,Dale Watson after his set at a festival,it was my turn on stage with a great friend of mine,in a respected band on the country scene,Red Canyon,( i dep for them occasionally)Red was that pissed that we only played 7 tunes,or,that should be,we played,Folsom prison, guitar boogie, folsom prison, guitar boogie, folsom prison, guitar boogie, and whiskey lullaby, but it was going to be folsom prison AGAIN,until i pointed out that we had already played it three times.
9. Great playing and great sounding = no strings ?

I should really, but I don't know where to start.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1978-FENDER-BONSAI-J...=item1c0e9e70bf Could this help ?
11. There will be worse gigs and there will be better ones too. Like was said before, treat it as a paid rehearsal, and you never know who is in the audience. Allways try to have a better time on stage than the audience is having. We once travelled up from a festival in Yorkshire, where we played to an audience of about 3,500,to a hotel gig in Fort William the next night, and played to less than 20. If it's any consolation,i went to see Hawkwind at Newcastle City Hall in about 1980,and there were less than 20,12 IIRC,in the audience, and half of those were band hanger ons.
12. Thanks.
13. My Marshall DBS 200w has 2 speaker outputs on the back,i have a 2x10+1x15 @ 4 ohms cab,and a 1x15 @ 8 ohms cab. Excuse my numptyness, but what affect will this have on the amps output ? On the rear of the amp it states, minimum 4 ohms.
14. I need new trousers.
15.
Please tell me you play C&W with it. That's fab.
I used to have a Black one,+ matching gu*tar, and yes,i did play country with it.
