  6. Most of the dirt is proberbly from wax polish, when i cleaned my Vintage 5 that has a natural Bubinga body,i gently cleaned it by rubbing lightly with lighter fluid and a bit of old T-shirt,the ammount of dirt it lifted was unbelievable, and it did'nt even look dirty beforehand.I used a tiny ammount of furniture wax and the transformation was amazing. This may work for you.I've added before and after pics.
  7. Avoid the holidays in Vegas and you'll be good.

  19. Found this elswhere. Hello all Need a bit of help/input. I am opening a shop in the southside of Glasgow and yes its a bass shop! As far as i am aware there are no specialist shops for us in Scotland and i find the range available in most instrument shops to be somewhat lacking, i intend to sell through the shop but also online to the rest of the country and should have delearships in place to cover everyone from beginners to pros, question i need some input for are 1) Would you welcome a specialist bass shop in Scotland 2) How often would you anticipate using it 3) Are you more likely to visit the shop or order online? 4) How much (roughly) do you spend on bass gear, accesories etc per year 5) What would you most like to see in the shop. If you can answer any of these it would be a great help either here or by email to [email protected] thanks in advance jj
  20. I have a fretted 5,body not 2 different shades, lovely neck, pots work just fine, huge array of tones for what it cost,i've had it a few years, would proberbly never sell it.BUT.I just can't seem to want to gig with it,i do'nt know if it's the pickups or the active circuit,i seem to spend more time fannying about with the controls than playing it.But,it does play nice.I think mine looks better now that the body has been waxed,it looked and felt unfinished before.
