Thanks and will check them, but its which way they were facing that i dont know, because i pulled them out before checking

One question regarding the fans on the back of the amp, something i should have checked before pulling them out, do they blow inwards onto the heatsinks, or extract the air off the heatsinks and blow it out the back of the amp ?

Followed advice, originals back in for now, but right now i'm waiting for a pair of quiet fans to be delivered, because the stock ones are too noisy, so the amp is out of the box. I have been mulling over other drivers , just maybe for the future, and like the look of the Beyma 10G40 at Blue Aran https://usspeaker.com/beyma 10G40-1.htm

I cant find anything about them. I thought SICAS were blue coloured, at least when they supplied them back when , so they may not be SICAS. I tried googling those numbers on the back in the photo, but google threw up nothing.

Thanks Bill, yes. I may not have the tech savvy, but i do take in what you and the other guys say about simply stuffing any old drivers in a cab without a second thought. I think i will remove them and put the originals back in.

Biggest Bass Drop... EVER!!! #Edit:It's come to my attention that the term “Bass Drop" is not universal so may I add that this thread is asking for members to share their favourite Outstanding Bass moments in songs & has nothing to do with dropping fish*

Why do some BC sellers insist on buyer arranging courier?
fleabag replied to Clarky's topic in General Discussion
One thing about who posts. If i was the seller and posting, i'd insure anything valuable to the hilt. Since i'm taking responsibility for postage, then i'm responsible for the item until delivered safely. Insurance is protection for who arranges postage. If the buyer arranges their own courier, then insure valuable items to the hilt. But always read the scamming small print. The devil is always in the detail -
It makes sense now i've looked at the posts. I thought, when i saw the title , that you needed help and training to use Skype

Well, as far as BC goes for buying, check the feedback. That's what it's for. -

Selling a bass , i guess the seller needs to do everything they can if they want a sale. On the otherhand, it maybe that buyers needs to put themselves out too, if its a bass they really want. Just sold a fretless to a lovely BC member, who was fine with arranging a courier. I didnt want to post because i had no hard case. Buyer sent his own hard case acoss, i packed it ( very well packed ) and buyer did the rest. We were both happy. Go figure.. -

Weird track , but then they weren't a conventional band. This was from their days before Wetton, and after Ric Grech, so the bassist is John Weider, i believe- 66 replies

Yes, quite right and a great player, as you say I even sold Glen a Fender bass neck once after he bid on it on Ebay. Trouble was he lived in California, so to my astonishment, he sent his friend and Tull drummer Clive Bunker round to my home to pick it up and take it California with him when they next met up
