Biggest Bass Drop... EVER!!! #Edit:It's come to my attention that the term “Bass Drop" is not universal so may I add that this thread is asking for members to share their favourite Outstanding Bass moments in songs & has nothing to do with dropping fish*

Why do some BC sellers insist on buyer arranging courier?
fleabag replied to Clarky's topic in General Discussion
Selling a bass , i guess the seller needs to do everything they can if they want a sale. On the otherhand, it maybe that buyers needs to put themselves out too, if its a bass they really want. Just sold a fretless to a lovely BC member, who was fine with arranging a courier. I didnt want to post because i had no hard case. Buyer sent his own hard case acoss, i packed it ( very well packed ) and buyer did the rest. We were both happy. Go figure.. -

Weird track , but then they weren't a conventional band. This was from their days before Wetton, and after Ric Grech, so the bassist is John Weider, i believe- 66 replies

Yes, quite right and a great player, as you say I even sold Glen a Fender bass neck once after he bid on it on Ebay. Trouble was he lived in California, so to my astonishment, he sent his friend and Tull drummer Clive Bunker round to my home to pick it up and take it California with him when they next met up

Got an ABM combo last week, in lieu of the fact that my PJB cabs have sold and also waiting to sell my shuttlemax 9.2 Seller threw in the Flightcase Warehouse flight case, which will be sold off, as i dont need it. Enjoying the sound of the combo, despite i'm the only one that can hear it right now in these troubling times

My bass playing pal Jerry Soffe has just had his income whipped out from beneath him. As a full time professional , this is how he earns money, but all gigs and 3 up and coming tours now just tumbleweed in the breeze. Luckily, his wife's job means she carries on working, but they're down to one income and with a 16 year old living at home, who eats for 3, times are going to be tough for them -
Why do some BC sellers insist on buyer arranging courier?
fleabag replied to Clarky's topic in General Discussion
Its not a big deal. Sometimes sellers want the buyer to arrange postage , and sometimes sellers arrange postage. If a seller doesnt want to arrange postag and neither does the buyer, then move on and buy something else. There's no obligations here on either side. Whats the fuss -

I checked their website, and it says that if any event is cancelled, they will be in touch and make refunds. Apparently The Crauford only announced their cancelletions yesterday, so i guess See Tickets will get round to contacting ticket buyers at some point
-
Did you get your ticket from See Tickets ?
-
Spoke too soon. Just found out The Crauford Arms, MIlton Keynes is closing down in 2 days, 20th March. All gigs cancelled from then on. Understandable
-
I know what you're saying, and i agree. On the skew looks good but intonation is way more important
-
That doesnt look like a good idea to me. The saddles that are at extreme ends only have intonation adjustment in one direction
-
End of April Brand X , Milton Keynes, as long it's not cancelled
