Agreed and i like the bass, but i dont play 5 's or contras. But if that was a 4 string regular 34" and £500 i'd be tempted
-
Is that white bass a short scale ? Looks awfully stubby for a 34

I'd like a to play with a drummer who turns up with his kit in a taxi Oh, yeah...ZZB

You're welcome

Ask him if its a ghost bass, too

Who influenced you to pick up and start playing Bass.

No probs pst. Shame they never did more. The band split but did other things separately. Pal Dennis married a French woman and shuffled off to live in France about 25 or 30 years ago. Frank the drummer took up Jazz guitar, and Jerry the bassman is still around playing in some mediocre bands that he's far too good for -
Had to get it out of the laundry basket, hence the creases

You mean a search to buy it ? That may be tricky, but the link in my post is the whole album anyway -

My mate Jerry. This is his band Red, back in the 80's. Keyboardist at rehearsals was ex Tom Robinson member Mark Ambler, though he never made it on the album. He was bit of a prat So, i used to go to rehearsals for this album with Jerry, and gitwrist Dennis, because we shared a huge house with more musos at the time, in Oxford. I loved his playing so much i was influenced by him a lot to take up the bass, even though i was a drummer at the time. Jerry played fretted and fretless Rick 4001's at the time, so i assume the bass on this album was one of his Ricks The whole album is fabulous, though an aquired taste. Not for everyone, but loved it and still have it on vinyl, but would really like it transferred at some point -
Band joining/leaving shenanigans. Update - The Decision...

I'm of the philosophy that they screwed you over, so you can take a wild stab at my answer. Unless you make a full time living at playing, then gigging under any circumstances doesnt compute. -
Yes. Looks ok. The knobs alone would be worth nearly the £10 that the winning bidder paid

Somewhere to sit and ponder , though

Appealing the *removal* of feedback - eBay content
fleabag replied to Jakester's topic in General Discussion
It used to be that your negs would stay, as long as it wasnt insulting e.g " the w@nker never sent the goods ' or similar stuff, and although some of it may have been accurate, they could have the whole thing removed because of the w@nker bit. But it seems now that feedback is a joke. Especially since the great idea by Nutbay big wigs many years back, deciding you cant leave a buyer any neg feedback. You now dont know which buyers are complete donkey butts, and there's a plenty of them out there Over 17 years on Ebay, i've bumped into so many richards that i opened a 2nd account, and if they pizzed me around, i used to wait till they had some stuff sale, and bid on it, then not bother paying so it messed them up. See how they liked a taste of their own meds. -
My pal asked Siri if she was single, and she said the question was inappropriate

Lead Singers who play Bass!
fleabag replied to Ted Theodore Logan, III's topic in General Discussion
One has to be old to remember this shizzle, but before The Robin Trower band kicked off, Dewar was bassing for LULU , ( old folk here will remember her ) and also Stone The Crows ( again...old folk will remember them ) Trower himself was the guitarist in Procol Harem for a while ( old folk will remember them ) James sadly died at the silly age of 59 in 2002 of a stroke after years of disability resulting from a rare medical condition- 141 replies

Very good and very Larson. I think the above cartoonist ripped this off Larson's cartoon ' What We Say To Dogs hear ' and ' What Dogs Hear ' The guy above and below both wear identical glasses.
