  1. Another Essex dog here. Born and raised, till i was 19. Born Dagenham, but moved to a mile from Aveley at 2 1/2 years old, and stayed there till i moved on. Secondary school at South Ockendon, which closed a year after i left. Nothing to do with me, though. Honest
  2. Nice to hear praise for a big company as well as the horror stories. If only more corporate giants had this attitude to the man/woman in the street
  3. Strangely, i WAS a drummer when i took music up in a serious fashion. I played guitar at school, but not very good at it. I could never get where i wanted to be as a drummer. Even though i battled on to the early 2000's i was getting unhappy with my lack of progress, so i switched to bass and have never looked back. I found i was better on bass than i ever was on drums, and have now been on the bass for about 17/18 years.
  4. As above, but a sheet music stand https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/Heavy-Duty-Orchestral-Conductor-Sheet-Music-Stand-Holder-Tripod-Base-Foldable-UK/6031187280?iid=113625689537&chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&itemid=113625689537&targetid=522577548423&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9046134&poi=&campaignid=1782815748&mkgroupid=70885937642&rlsatarget=pla-522577548423&abcId=1139356&merchantid=7308734&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIz_jA0eSe5QIVzkPTCh18gwO9EAQYASABEgLJ5PD_BwE
  5. I've been friends with John since 1990, and i met him through a friend and jammed with him back then. He's always been the nicest guy and incredibly helpful. He was on the digital team that built a monstrous desk for Pete Gabriel. What he doesnt know about electronics could be etched on the perforated edge of a 1st class stamp
  6. Oh my good grief. Its now been 17 years since i joined ? JHC , the grey beard and tache of mine now makes sense.
  7. Yup, and no. Depends on venue. We use an RCF Sub 705 AS ll and Yamaha tops Yamaha tops have a sub out with x-over . Sub also has a x-over at 110 or 80hz https://www.mercury-av.com/sales/RCF-SUB705-AS-II.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIyP38t-aP5QIVj0DTCh1BUQnkEAQYAyABEgIS9_D_BwE

  9. Oh boy. Guilty Left these behind 19 years ago Moonhowl 2.mp3 StoneFree 2.mp3 Airborne Baby 2.mp3
  10. Thanks guys. The Keys player sorted it out in the end. Its his Korg after all, but i'm the one playing it as an added part for a track
  11. The Louis Vuitton bag scenario would guarentee that i'd never go back to that shop, if thats how they work
  12. Perhaps nowhere near as often as Iggy, but didnt Donita Sparks from the all female band L7 drop her skiddies on UK tv and was nekkid from the waist down ? She did much worse at Reading Festival IMO, attention grabbing antics like this is kinda pathetic, and a bit school playgound
  13. Similar .. They had mine , but they put up 2 sets of identical photos, but each set had different prices. The same bass, but with 2 different prices. Weird. Then, one of the set of photos was marked ' sold ' but it wasnt, when i checked. I got my bass back after that. Amateurs
  14. Its always worth proof reading before hitting the submit button. Perhaps that's too simple for some.
  15. Never owned a Riccardo, but nowt against them. For any fans, the track below is from an album, ( yeeeup, released on Vinyl ) by some pals of mine. Jerry was the bassister on fretless Rick , fab player I shared a house with Jerry, and Dennis, the guitar wiz ... Vintage 57 Gold Top Les Paul no less They were a great band, if you like that sort of music, and the whole album is on YT.
  16. The PJ headphones at £49 are only half price from PJ themselves, as Amazon sell them for £67.99 , but thats still nearly a £20 saving
  17. Arggggh ! My bad - what was i thinking
  18. Always is, ya never know. But the Vitoos 9v outlets are all 300 ma whereas the the Mooer 9v are all 100 ma. I know not many pedals require over 100 ma but who knows what gas i'll get in the future ? 300 ma would, i assume, cover just about anything 9v
  19. Thanks mate but i've gone for the Vitoos, because the Mooer is £20 more just for that one 15v power. The Vitoos was £41 and i can live with having one extra power supply for the Wah
