  1. That was mesmerising to watch and utterly brilliant
  2. That was weirdly fascinating. Never seen anything like it ! clever stuff
  3. Likewise . I have 2 of the C4's and they're not even the C4 lites, and can carry 1 in each hand. Driven by a 9.2 shuttlemax. No probs
  4. PJB C4 Power 400 W Dimensions 14.2 x 12.4 x 13.4 inch / 360 x 320 x 340 mm Weight 29lbs / 13.1 kg
  5. I can tell you that at one gig, just prior to going on, my amp " died " We then spent the next half hour eliminating all we could. We never found the answer. All cables and settings were fine, as were power supplies. When i got back home, i plugged the amp into different cabs and it was fine. Turned out the amp went into self protection mode, and the culprit was the speakon sockets on one of my MB cabs at the gig. Just a thought ..
  6. There ya go Dov...easy peasy
  7. I'll take a guess ....oooh, nah i give up ?
  8. I doubt it Some choices here. If only people gave real info when they want answers
  9. We dont know that because he didnt say and he has more than one bass for sale, but yes if locked, contact a mod as you say
  10. I said maybe it was BS. Seems it was
  11. From what i remember, pickups that are designed from the factory to be used with a preamp usually have a lower output than pickups designed with passive electronics. The active preamp boosts the output, so the pickups can be wound with less output. Basses with passive electronics tend to have higher output because there's no active preamp to boost them. That could be total BS though
  12. I had a Gen 1 S7, and loved it for a while ( new bass excitement ) but after a while, i couldn't get the tone i wanted out of it. Couldn't say whether it was pups or preamp , but i'm leaning towards the preamp. It was moved, anyways
  13. Big fan of TT here. Its My Life and Colour Of Spring have sat in my collection since around '87. Unique band, almost un-pigeonholable. Hollis was a fab song writer and one of the most easily recognisable voices in music. Very sad
  14. Indeed it is, but he's willing to take offers, so it may not even go for the start price. I think someone would have a bid on it. How much is the pickup, assuming they can still be bought ?
  15. @Andyjr1515 Andy is working with Sapele right now - so Andy, can you stand the smell - what are we talking here...rotten eggs ?
