By the time my band has kicked in, just about every nuance i can hear on my own, with any string gauge, has virtually disappeared under a wall of keys, drums guitar, and vocals.
Just buy the gauge strings you're comfortable with, and quit worrying.
I say top bar because i dont know the technical name, but why do i see different top bars depending on whether i'm replying , or starting ( and indeed editing ) a post ?
If reply to a post i see the top bar in screenshot 1. If i edit that post, i see the full top bar in screenshot 2. If i start a thread ( as in this one ) i see the full top bar as in screenshot 2
We dont use any clicks at all. We have the luxury of having a drummer with great timing and tempo, so its like the other musicians have our own click track just using the drummer.
But whatever works for everyone. It doesnt matter whether you use one or not.
There is that and it's a good point. I had an amp head that was 30lbs + and then the weight of the SKB rack case on top, but the sound was awesome. Couldnt live with it, though, in the end
That is an oddball - like the bustard love child of Status and Teisco. Dont know what the neck pup is, but the bridge is a Schaller 232 Bassbucker, same as in my Paisley bass. You can just make out the original holes for the height adjustment screws, which are now sat between dual screws. so some one has altered that for some reason
It's a Springett , same as this guitar
Indeed, big savings. Trouble is, not everyone will accept TW
When i tried to buy a BART pickup in Holland a few weeks ago, and asked if they would take TW ( it's pretty failsafe ) they said no.
Couple of years ago i bought an amp from germany and after some emails between us, the finally said ok to TW, but they didnt want to at the start
