I never believe such demos unless the test was done blind. And with more choices. It's too easy with a 50-50 choice to guess right even when blind tested

Luckily , i wont be leaving the bass out in the weather. Then again, i have never seen a silvery grey bass body. Might be an option for another build in the future. Just leave it outside for a few years - voila !

I've seen some ideas in the thread about how to transfer the neck shape to the top horn, and wrapping around the neck, etc. I was just wondering if a profile gauge would be any use ? You've probably already thought of this, and i havent a clue if this is useful or not ? I maybe barking up the wrong tree / accidently falling down the wrong stairs
