  1. Apart from all the planet choking packing above, one thing that irked me was when the caring uk Gov made all shops charge 5p for a plastic bag, for the hard of thinking, who often dont take their own. Barely anyone would care at forking out 5p. If they'd made that price £1, maybe it would have made a much bigger difference. It's not a mental challenge to take reusable bags. If an idiot like me , who's been using the same bags for 7 or 8 years can manage it, anyone can
  2. Me too, though the sound quality at bass shows on YT seem to always be lacking. Understandable at a show, i guess
  3. IIRC , isnt that how the famous one handed bass player works ? I think his technique was forced on him, though , due to his accident. Ah..just remembered his name ,.. Bill Clements
  4. If it turns out to be a pile of, then it could start a second life as an ironing board.
  5. Yep, i think i agree about the timeline. Must be 10+ years since i was seeing mazeti basses on ebay.
  6. Was it active ? Some ( not many i should think ) have the battery connector converted to Boss style 2.1mm barrel plug, and just power the preamp with a 9v power supply. Probably way out in my thinking, but it was just a thought
  7. Never been in a tribute, but seen a few. Counterfeit Stones, Whole Lotta Zed, Limehouse Lizzie. They were fabulous too. Great entertainment, and superb musicians
  8. Yup, not the wild thing that the basses were built like.
  9. Kind of strange ...Years ago, I used to see Mazeti basses for sale on Ebay a lot. Then they disappeared. I was so tempted to buy one, and never did.
  10. Karl Reidlich may have been the name behind Mazeti. I'd heard that they were built in Germany. How Frenchman Thomas Bruneteau got to make identical guitars is a mystery right now By the way, yes BT i see what you mean now about the similar W. It's all got a bit odd and confusing. One W is rounded and curvy, the other is very sharp and angular, but there is a similarity
  11. Yeah i didnt think of that. Or maybe Bruneteau took over a failing company ? Who knows. I like them which ever way it happened
  12. PS Nff Found what i was looking for. He was Mazeti ....he changed the name. I KNEW i'd seen those weird fretboards before. Man., i should be a detetctive https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/les-paul-bass-mazeti-bass-guitar-512359460
  13. yeah if you can live with the headstock - it will be utterly unique - but build yer own case
  14. No, NFF got it wrong The single letter W is French Luthier Thomas Bruneteau. The one with the full word WOLF, is the Korean one
  15. Would you believe it... I cant find any basses with that 2 tone fretboard yet
  16. I have the feeling that Bruneteau makes very good quality axes. And unless he copied the bass model that began with an M that i cannot think of, it maybe that he started the bass building with those M's and ventured on to Wolf, changing the name. That 2 tone neck is identical to the basses i remember that are no longer around
  17. I dont relish the idea of fixing them, sir
  18. See my post above Nff. I think maybe Bruneteau made one offs, or maybe they were staple models that never sold in big numbers and he left the idea alone
  19. This is the webby of the French guy Bruneteau Doesnt seem to make many basses. In fact there aren't any on his site. Wonder if they were specials ? That weird acoustic isnt listed either. They could old models that he doent make anymore. Maybe too wacky and didnt sell ? http://wolflutherie.com/index.html
  20. Wolf guitar brand from Korea is made by KHL Seoul South Korea – established 1997. KHL also make Ravenwest, HK, and Woodo brands. This is their logo
  21. By the way - that bass above was made in France by luthier Thomas Brunteau . Apparently there is more than one builder using the name Wolf Here's another by the same French guy
