  1. I thought you were just thinking of making cabs for home messing ? You never mentioned gigging in your first post
  2. Do you really need two cabs if just home messing, as you say ? May as well build one 4 ohm 4X8 cab. Unless you dont want a 4 ohm cab, or your amp doesnt run down to 4 ohms
  3. Funded by your own bank account to whoever else's bank account, so there's a trail.
  4. Another Transfer wise user here. Couple of years ago, bought a £600 amp from Station music in Germany. Transferwise fee.... about £2.50+ ...... Paypal and banks wanted around £30+ At the moment, i'm debating on buying a pickup from the Netherlands, costing Euro 78 ( £ 71 ) Transferwise fee is just over £1. Paypal and banks around £14-£17
  5. I'll throw caution to the wind and say Beyma SN/112 ?
  6. No need for screwing anything to anything ( matron ) Just use packing foam on floor or between stacked cabs
  7. Just recently joined the the shuttlemax club with a 9.2 and loving it. There's a lot of knobs around ( no offence ) which some may see as too many, if you want old school, but i like miniscule control over the EQ, with the added bonus of dual preamp channels for 2 distinct sounds at the kick of a button.
  8. That ten times That ten times That ten times That ten times That ten times That ten times That ten times That ten times That ten times That ten times Have i won the prize ?
  9. No need, as i've stumbled on some very sweet English Walnut, and we'll be off and running in the new year.
  10. Nah danny - both Aguilars , and analogue
  11. Cheers MBA - just saves buying a 2nd supply
  12. I'm wondering if i can use one power supply ( 9v regulated ) to power 2 pedals, using a Y splitter cable. As long as the milliamp draw on the supply is enough for what the pedals need, would this be ok ? I'm wondering whether 1 PS can still be regulated if i connect 2 9v pedals to it, with slightly different milliamp consumption
  13. Bought a pedal off of Crawford and it was in the post 1st class next day. A gentleman for sure. Cheers fella
  14. yeah that might be better option. I just used a standard MM clone, so no real versatility
  15. I did this a while ago. Didnt sound like a Jazz
  16. I dont do deps, ever.
  17. Pray tell ?
  18. And he's from Essex. A proper geezer IMO
  19. So you were, my mistake - soz
  20. Probably. Haven't yet seen a woman with one. Maybe i need to get out more 🤓
  21. Every woman bass player avoided bidding on it, i see. Then again, so did all the men bass players. What a nob
  22. This a bit of a read, but some of the tests on caps have audio with them. Sounds like a guitar rather than a bass, and the audio is nothing to write home about, but there ya go http://zerocapcable.com/?page_id=224
  23. Why not just get a new bridge - you wont save much or indeed anything at all just buying barrels https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Chrome-Block-Style-4-String-Bass-Guitar-Bridge-Assembly-57mm-String-Pitch/263864124132?hash=item3d6f8702e4:g:WJwAAOSwat5baV2r
