  1. Havent got a photo have you, BOTB ?
  2. Aria Pro ll SB bridges used to be around 16.5 mm back in the 80's. There were probably a lot more than those though.
  3. I've often wondered why they were called " Highway " and i still don't know
  4. He certainly has put enough photos up, which makes a change. Wouldn't get me to part with my sheckles though. What a mess
  5. Thanks guys. Unfortunately, after 3 days with no posts, i bought some Chromes from PawelG so i hope they're what i'm looking for, which was high tension flats that were not too dull and thumpy. I already have set of Roto 77 one of my basses and they were ace but thought i'd like to try another make. Chromes are well liked on BC We'll see how they go
  6. Brill - thanks Pete
  7. Bayete ( Todd Cochrane ) did most vocals but others chipped in for some on lead vox. Thrall certainly did Hughes and Thrall made an album together, but it's nothing like Auto Man. I found some Hughes/ Thrall on YT
  8. They're not exacltly well known, despite Michael Shrieve being the tubbist on their first album One of may fave albums under headphones
  9. I've still got their first, and second on vinyl. Def. prefer the first - lovely complex keys arrangements. Remember the band saying they didnt play live much due to the complexity of the arrangements and the available tech at the time made it difficult to do Still, a prized album for me. AFAIK, those 2 albums never made it to CD. I looked for years, but maybe they can be had these days
  10. Just got this error looking at a bass for sale - not sure if there's a relation to 502 ? I pressed the back button, then forward again, and the page come up correctly
  11. Interesting I'd take a wild guess that the fretboard has been replaced with the current one. I'm pretty sure the 80's SB series fretless had lines, like my SB600 fretless They were extremely well built as most know, so that delam. looks a tad suspicious, though i could be wrong of course
  12. Also looking for flats 34" scale to trade if possible
  13. Anyone remember this band ? First album from '76 was a killer , if you like that sort of genre. 2nd album " Vistors " not so good after 2 key members left Original line up was ex Santana tubbist Michael Shrieve , The only Englisman Bayete on Keys / a few lead vocals and most of the tracks written by him ( real name Todd Cochrane ) Doni Harvey on Bass and Pat Thrall on wizard guitar. Harvey and Shrieve were not on the 2nd album
  14. More sweetness form LB Akkerman is no slouch either, and how nice to see original tub thumper for the 80's Night Of The Guitars, Clive Mayuyu , back here wiith Brown and Akkerman Tight as a nun's chuff
  15. Ah, but then NewFF is all man, i tell ya.
  16. Have you been smoking that Ketamine again, Luki ?
  17. Now you have another
  18. Er..... Should i re-phrase that ?
  19. Women notice everything. Good luck getting 8lbs of wood past her
  20. Doesn't seem to be a good reason at all.
  21. Wonder if this tool is useful for our tame bass builder gurus ? https://tonetechluthiersupplies.co.uk/nut-and-saddle-sanding-carriage.html
