  1. I know it's old skool, but i loved the Adrenalinn 2. Myself and a gitwrist buddy recorded some noodles with it. Just messing around to see if we could expand on the noodles at a later date. It's an FX box too, so not a stand alone beat machine, but the drum tracks are pretty good https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/roger-linn-adrenalinn-ii 2 of the noodles in question https://www.soundclick.com/html5/v4/player.cfm?songID=12701905 https://www.soundclick.com/html5/v4/player.cfm?songID=7509632
  2. I'd be more worried about the strength of those necks. The guy who keeps hitting the jack with his hand would make matchwood of this freaky looking thing
  3. I just tried a search in one of the forums, and made liberal use of the back button and changing pages within the search,, and i got no errors. You may have nailed it
  4. That green is horrid . It's a nauseating clash with the tort scratchplate. £53 is about right
  5. I approve of the violence. He will have been taught a valuable lesson, and maybe won't treat people with such disdain in the future. Not everyone he's nasty to will turn the other cheek. Psalm 101.
  6. Utterly brilliant !! I want one, mum.
  7. I get loads of those. Seem to be more when doing a search, then clicking on the threads and then posts, and trying to use the back button to carry on reading the next page
  8. A heat gun is definately the quickest way to strip a bass, but beware. It's very easy to either get the heat gun too close, or leave it one spot too long. You will get a burnt patch if either of those things happen. If it's a light burn, you will be able to sand it back, but thats depending.
  9. At a guess, i'd say that most of the bass' life , the first few frets has taken most of the wear, probably because that's where it's been played the most. You don't have to wear much of the meat of a fret to cause slight scratching of the board
  10. Just as weird, there's no bump button in the ' Sell Anything ' forum, but you can make replies
  11. It's a left hand neck on a right hand body. The nut looks like it's been changed for a right hand version. You can see that low E has been changed to the furthest tuning key. They're never wound on the last key, always the first. So the neck is def, as said, upside down .
  12. Yup, and i agree with you - headstock repair
  13. He mentioned the headstock repair in the description
  14. Yup I have the gold cloth covering and the balck and white as above. Not tried the platinums, so might give them a shot. I like stiff - matron
  15. Fender custom shop performance are every bit as good as the Vox but way cheaper. I have a couple of these. https://www.gak.co.uk/en/fender-custom-shop-performance-series-instrument-cable-18ft-5m-angled-tweed/55307?gclid=CjwKCAjw5ZPcBRBkEiwA-avvk_dTYfqjQZ2gHEmpJ0Xe_N1J3Zcf6WNNvUtkoz3cOOm9hhodd5DAhxoCxPsQAvD_BwE
  16. ??? Would be useful having that button, but still keeping replies disabled
  17. Not sure what the right search title should be, but that's what i'm looking for. A box / machine containing all sorts of samples of percussive sounds that can be triggered by a midi foot controller. I already have an ART x-11 footie midi pedal job, so only need to buy the box of tricks. Does anyone know what i'm looking for ? There's probably a name for these boxes but i'm not sure what they would be called
  18. Superb tips young lady
  19. Fastidiousness is what makes the quality. The devil is in the detail. Well done for not settling for anything less Christine
