  1. It probably used to moonlight as a submarine. Or a carpenters trestle
  2. Thanks Harry - the warning is about Landmark Global if anyone's wondering. Avoid

  6. Cheers , yes a bit out there. They sound fab, though, especially when used with an active pre
  7. He may have been indulging in some rumpy with Sheryl Crow too. My partner Sharon bought us tickets for my birthday to a Crow gig in London and no mention of Clapton, but he sneaked on stage for a couple of tracks
  8. I was just eyeing up all the bass changes - Rickenbacker, Aria SB 900, Aria SB 1000, WAL, different SB 1000, some headless thing, Peavey Cirrus blah blah
  9. AGUILAR DCB G3 Soapbar set Bought new from Bass Direct costing £200 and the price i'm asking is lower than would be due to them being sprayed. Bit ugly with the decals on too. So the price is down for that reason. They function perfectly despite the cosmetics. Come with the box and schematic that was supplied + screws Can post at cost
  10. Maybe i could change the badge to something fashonable ?
  11. Never seen one of those gadgets before. DIY foam yes, but not a factory built mute. Then again, it's not something i'd ever use, so it's a gadget thats new to me.
  12. Is it the hideous Ga Ga pink music stand ?
  13. Admittedly i'm talking about a regular leccy bass here , but still I'd say well excessive. To give you an idea why, i had a luthier rout my bass for a pickup, ( so he had to make a template ) wire it to the pots, then i wanted the rear cavity enlarged ( matron ) becuase it was so small that getting access to 2 of the 3 pots was near impossible. Also, the rear cavity did not have a shelf so the cavity cover sat over the body and not in the cavity. So he routed a shelf on it as well as making the cavity bigger. I did the job of making the cavity cover myself, as he made a template for it. That lot cost £150
  14. As good looking as any boutique basses out there, IMO. Wish i had 50% of your skills Christine
