  1. We gigged for 2 years with SRM 450's without a hitch. Great sound too. We were a 3 piece Cant speak for other Mackies though
  2. His description of what the hell flush fit is, ...er .... a tad lacking innit Only 300 made ( so he says ) , so i'd have put up a serious description of this bass. And just for good measure, how about a photo of the strangely unique, only 300 made, fretboard ? No photo. Why not ? Way to go Richard Cranium
  3. You're not the only one. I've had this happen many times over the years. Ignorant onanists
  4. Nah, cannot just drop a bridge in to check because there's no rout. Its a one off bass
  5. If we're on about Chickens ...
  6. I'd better lower that neck pup some, then Or, the other option which i really didnt want to, is move the neck pup to bridge, and put the new lower output pup at the neck But this might be the only option. At this point, i have no idea if i can lower the neck up enough, and raise the bridge pup high enough to get a volume balance I'd only find this out if i routed, and fitted the lower output pup, and then i've had routing done for no reason if it doesnt work out. Dilemma
  7. Always exceptions, sure. I'm sure it wont be a problem - pickup heights can be adjusted etc, but i'd just like to know how big a difference 3.1 k ohms is between the pups, Maybe its small enough not to even notice
  8. OOh, hope you get round to doing Hell Raiser - what a track !
  9. Here is The Greeks memory just for posterity ..

  12. Its nearer to Oscar than Jaco.
  13. Quick ! That deckchair will be gone if the Germans spot it
  14. Way better looking I owned an '84 around the early 2000's , and i've kicked my own head for selling it. Single , beautiful sounding Bill Lawrence pickup with genuine Ebony cover. Tone tone and more tone. Gutted of Oxfordshire
  15. Is it the start of a bee hive assembly ?
  16. I think you only think you know who he's talking about, and i think he's not talking about the same shop as you think he's talking about
  17. If only the rest of the pub venue landlords were that clued up
  18. You might like this too ! Not Wetton though - John Weider IIRC.
