  1. Just buy a Rickenbacker. Job done
  2. yes its possible to remove the covers I've already tried it, as i was thinking black covers but never got round to buying them
  3. DIMARZIO MODEL P DP122 PRECISION - fab nick Lovely brute - original box and papers, bought new by myself. Flash makes it look like the yellow colour is patchy, but that was the camera. £39 Including post
  4. ENTWISTLE PRECISION PBXN NEO MAG pickup in super nick. Beast £18 including post
  5. Came fitted to a bass i bought new, so i'm the only owner. Good nick ! £14 Including post and spare unused black covers. Still got plastic on the blacks, in case anyone was thinking they have dandruff
  6. Aha You did the safest method known to man. Well done
  7. Thats a bit odd. If i was the seller of the bass you won, it would be ME who insisted on insured delivery, because if it turned up as a box of matchwood, its the seller who loses out financially with Ebay. The seller also has the unenviable task of trying to get their compensation from the courier As a buyer, all you have to do is hit the resolution button
  8. It wasn't as easy i'd imagined. Man shed with space to work and some proper power tools would have made it a lot easier If it hadn't have been for Richard, it would never have happened. Luckily i got guided through the maze
  9. Which could be made a lot simpler
  10. Just remembered - totally over the top
  11. Thanks Stew Very happy mate
  12. No need to have to ask, wait for a reply, only to find out its a no go. Having a location, and then stating postage would be a lot easier for everyone. After all , if you're trying to sell something, adding relevant info is par for the course isn't it ? Thats if you want to sell
  13. Could be a good idea for a seller to mention it then ?
  14. Hmm... no postage info, or collection only, and no location Way to go
  15. When i needed to shield a bass pre cavity many moons ago, i found copper foil , with sticky backing, on a roll, just like seloptape. Mind you, it was quite thin, which may not be your bag. Very convenient though
  16. Ah of course - fair play. Nicer looking logo allround, anways
  17. Its probably similar. Its called Knauf but it doesnt seem itchy at all
