  1. I couldn't be sure because it rattled everything in my lounge so bad, the rattling could have covered up the noise of crackles
  2. Oh dear - Long crackle on a lot of notes. Worse on the E and A fretted or open , a lot less on D and G 1) amp has 2 channels. Only using one at a time as its a single cab. Changed channels, no help 1a) Also changed EQ, various changes, Comp on and off etc. No help 2) cab has 2 speakons. Swapped speakons. No help 3) Changed speakon cable and then did the above again, swapping channels, then cab speakons. No help 4) changed guitar leads twice, no help 5) used my wireless XVIVE's . No help 6) Isolated amp from cab and isolated cab from floor. No help 7) Took grill off, played open E and open A, and put both hands on the driver ( cone and beyond cone ). No help. 8) Changed basses - no help Isn't looking good
  3. I've also visited the website and seen those multitude of SOLD basses. It would be much more user friendly to have all SOLD basses in their own section

  5. Stevie and i were messing around. The cab was actually upside down at the time, as i was working on the underneath. But even with the cab the right way up, you can have the space for your knuckles when gripping the handle, either facing up or down
  6. Yeah they do. But if they were the other way round, its slightly more cramped to get a grip. I checked this before. You find that you need the most space below the handle for your knuckles
  7. Money shots - oi , stop dribbling at the back Some side action Some rear action , matron. Yes i stuck another badge on the rear. Had some perspex i didnt know what to do with Some front action And a close up ( sounding like a porn movie ? ) of the flash SS cups under the grill screws. Oh yes. Come to daddy

  16. Some of the edge protection fitted, and if i hadn't miss-cut a few while i had a fuzzy head full of cold, i'd be finished. So, waiting for more strip to arrive. meanwhile - pics of partial edge fittings - cab is a bit dusty. Needs a vacuum

  20. I'll put this to him Rod. I know some people are reluctant to dismantle a bass thats never been dismantled in 30 years. Upto him i guess
