  1. Thanks chaps. I'll do a Sold Listings search on Ebay, and check Andy's site, though i'm pretty sure he's not willing to sell to a dealer due to prices of trade, so only checking Andy's for what he sells at , and knock some money off, as dealers usually sell for more than private Once he knows a ball park figure, i reckon he should join here, pay the fee, and then he could also sell his Ashdown rig - and then Ebay if no joy here
  2. Are the EB forums the best place to value an all orignal, owned from new, EB Musicman , late 80's ? Not sure where the serial No. is located, neither is my pal, but there is a number stamped on the bridge - is that it ? I suspect that there are some very knowedgeable MM people here too, but unsure whether this is permitted or not. Its not my bass, so it wont be appearing for sale, unless the owner, a friend, joins and pays his fee.
  3. Do it Stew. PITA here because of the space, but someone with a proper man shed will have a much easier time
  4. My mini Peavey head is going to look lost on that cab
  5. Ta Stevie - yep i could have fitted the driver, but then i'd be having to turn the cab a lot when fitting the edges, and i'd rather do that while its at its lightest weight
  6. Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeet - didnt even notice when i posted that Ooops
  7. Probably - not everyone bothers to have a link, just like some dont bother having their location
  8. My suggestion means the software doesnt have to be modified
  9. Burlesque by Family. And that tone - Wetton nailed it beyond the call of duty For younger members who dont know the band / track
  10. Its even easier if members have a feedback link in their sig
  11. Grinding to a halt now till i can fit edge trim, so made a badge.
  12. That grill was on my Peavey BVX 115. The cab i couldn't give away I also nicked the handles, speakons, ( not OEM on that Peavey ) and originally the only wadding i had was from that cab too, till i fitted more I've seen how quickly little dents appear on the edges, so i'm going to fit them, Not really bothered if it looks like a man in a hallway built it - cos one did
  13. Grill batten tuff cabbed, and grill cut to size and resting on the baffle. Waiting for edge strips, grill needs spraying too Note beggar all space to work in. You can't see it but i'm standing in my bathroom to take photos.
  14. Ya can't smoke inside public buildings, so its either booze /or food. I occasionally have a babycham but rarely indulge in nosebag at gigs
  15. I'm working in the smallest warehouse known to man.
  16. I currently own some of that nostalgia GP11 Mk V 4x10 combo
  17. I've owned a New York 2x12 and two New York 1x12's and a pair of the strange New York 4x6 cabs. I actually preferred the 4x6's. The bottom end on those small cabs was marvellous
  18. It would be slower if i had a workshed or something. I'm fed up with the mess and clutter , tools, wadding , sawdust, tins of stuff cluttering up my flat hallway. So i'm going at a fair chat to get it done, without rushing. Tricky
  19. Last action for tonight - grill battens fitted and sealed, and now drying off
