2.
64 Spoons
Thats a strange name .. oddly enough i saw a band back in the 80's or was it the 70's, called the 64 spoons , downstairs in The Corn Dolly, Oxford . He didnt know it back then but the gitwrist would later play with Level 42 .. bloke by the name of Jakko Jakszyk
3. " Looking for experienced singist. Must be African American lesbian catholic with one leg aged between 29-30 - must love dogs " "PS must be left handed"
4. Laughage !! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLDaosE67XU
5. No love for SG basses for me,... But i'd love one of these again. Original shape Overwater bass. I had a single pup version about 15 years ago, and like the divot i am, i sold it. It had an Ebony cased Bill Lawrence pickup, but i wouldnt mind a 2 pickup model as below... photo found on Basschat too
6. I wonder if anyone has tried stuffing 4 neo mag 10's in a TE ? Then again, i suspect that would be messing with the TE sound a bit
7.
She always looks very awkward when she is playing bass. Efficient and a decent player, but she doesn't look comfortable to me
Yeah i got that too. Something a bit ungainly and stiff ...cant put me finger on it, but nevertheless... efficient and decent , as you say
8. Love that 80's teal green Veillette Citron, Greek. They have a much more pleasing shape than modern V-C's
9. These are fab.... padded too I have 2 of these Gaucho straps. 10. EDITED - the Greek already posted the vid
11. She wasn't too bad in the Tom Tom Club either
12.
How strange that you should mention Nausea. For there is a strikingly prophetic passage in Sartre's 1938 existentialist novel La Nausée which bears upon this very topic. Antoine is sitting in the park contemplating things (as is his wont):
I think i'll have google Translate arrested
13.
In that case there are more 'great' bass players around than I thought. Keep trying to justify her greatness ad nauseum people...
There's one thing here thats ad nauseaum and its not Tina Weymouth
14.
Nonetheless she became a great bass player and musician
Quite agree dog.
15. Trying to be too clever with his unwitty description, or he overpriced it. Probably both
16.
Hahaha. He's either a liar or a gullible idiot.
Well, either Warwick ignored him, or told him he was thick as a whale omelette, or he never contacted them. Each of those make him a liar, whichever was true
17. He lists the standard J and P pups I've only ever used P and J neos . Spookily, the neo magnet pups are not listed on his website. Damn good pickups though
18. I reckon the its either the Acoustic 408 or 406 ( 4x15 and 2x15 ) Cant really tell which Weymouth is using though. Vid of guy with 4x15 408 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXTadSDsHx4
