1.
It was in the Daily Mail. But yeah, ok. Sorry mate, didn't realise they were for regulars only. .
Oh go on then. Eat my nuts
2.
Get out you youngster. I've been eating snacks off the bar all my life and it never did me any harm. All that new fangled scientific analysis. Poke it.
Who said eating pub nuts would do you any harm ?
3. Just need the lollypop then..
4. Bit more Pratt. Icehouse , where his pro career started ( there was stuff before this ) This is Icehouse and Guy supporting Bowie on the Serious Moonlight tour '83. I was at the Milton Keynes Bowl gig This vid is from another venue... Guy at 19 !! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PzVALmtT0Aw
5. There's a queue , mate. Also, dont touch the nuts in a bowl on the bar.
6. Its easier to house train a dog, it seems
7.
Nope, 1985!
I KNEW there was some skulldiggery going on with the dates !! From my lack of knowledge regarding Wilkes, i was under the impression he kicked off as builder in the 80's
8.
Can't believe people are moaning about the playing in the vid? I wish I could play that badly!
Well, Dave Gilmour must have been duped in '87 when he got GP to play and has done, on and off, for a couple of decades. Roxy music were aslo duped into thinking the same thing
9.
Well, the review by Neville Marten which is transcribed on the Wilkes web page (the review I was thinking of) is dated July 1985. Which does suggest that page has been hanging around for about a decade!
Then that makes Wilkes sliding pup gits were built in the 70's ... so he was up there with Armstrong Alembic and Gibson. !!
10. One can get banned for cynicism and sarcasm, with any luck
11.
deceived me 1050 euros .. now no contact. Tomorrow notify police
I'll await your call

13. What has evryone got against the Germans ? Forgive and forget, peeps

15.
I wish they'd given it to a better player to demonstrate.
You, perhaps ?
16. According to the Wilkes site, the Answer first came out 20 years ago, assuming that the current Wilkes web pages are not actually 10 years old The Rail bass was featured in a mag in '84 , but i've just remembered that the Gibson Grabber was around in the mis 70's
17. brilliant
18. A knighthood ? Sir Skank of Wiltshire on Sea
19. Oh hang on, the auction's finished. I wonder if he was able to read my message, or maybe the auction ran its course and no one fell for it ?
20. He must be able to read though ? I mean, it doesnt say Fender or Straocaster on the guitar anywhere.
21. I know the moving pups thing isnt new. Anyone remember the Westone Rail Bass ? Even Westone probably didnt come up with idea, but nevertheless, its a concept i really like I do think the Westone idea of the 2 big chrome rails looks kinda more aesthetically pleasing than the large empty hole of this Framus/ Warwick Starbass, but whatever, the idea appeals to me. 22.
BTW, Tina Weymouth looked nothing like the way she looked in her other thread on here.
The inevitable march of life gets us all in the end http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VL94XuyW0w
23.
What if a minority doesn't want to be represented? You can't make people do ballet if they'd rather be doing something else. Or what if there is a higher than 'average' representation of any particular minority group within any particular activity, say, for example, Welsh people performing at Eisteddfods? Should there be fewer Welsh performers there? And - if so - who's going to decide which Welsh people will have to pack up and go home? And who's going to tell them? And will they tell them in Welsh? Because if they tell them to go home in English someone will kick up a stink and shout something like 'That's "Mynd adref chi bobl mewn rhesi 1 drwy 21" you English c**t!' even if the person doing the asking is themselves Welsh but can't speak Welsh, which is another oppressed sub-group actually but let's not get into that otherwise we'll have Plaid Cymru druids out the ying-yang for days on end, banging on about the threat to indigenous culture and Tom Jones. So basically f**king pointless, really. .
On the button Skank Thats because of the festeringly annoying F%55%ing PC brigade that now infiltrate every aspect / permeate everyone's lives. I don't care what colour, sex or creed they are. But they're out there in all forms, trying to correct the most miniscule aspects in life, to be right & fair. Life will never be those things. Ever.
24. To elaborate a tad, i was sniggering at the bloke himself, and the need to wear a lab technicians coat.
25. He doesnt pay much attention to his auctions, does he.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Stratocaster-Vintage-Reissue-And-Fender-Amp-/232237570585?
