1.
Sorry fella: I'm not sure if there's an 'irony' emoji, but if there is I would have used it in the OP. It was merely a facetious quip to provoke debate.
OK, understood I guess without a smiley wink or something, people will take what you say seriously
 2. Rediculous You think Fender are a pillar of virtue ? How many small businesses have they bought out and shut down ?

 7.
Oops, just read your post Fleabag. As I understand it, if you add octaves down and they are subaural you still get the unique 'flavour' from the harmonics and sub harmonics above.
Cleared that up Greene, thanks

 11.
Only by you it seems Peter, everyone else I know puts them as the last element in the chain to ensure that the pedals don't introduce any sub-frequencies. The only thing I might want downstream of it is a DI box.
Not exactly, Pete. If you read about the MT on Talkbass, you'll also find that some put it at the front and some put it last I was thinking though that if someone ran an Octaver, you wouldnt want the MT last, surely ? Would that not kill any of the notes below E ?
 12.
Hey Fleabag, and thanks for your comments.... The only kit I use is a Seymore Duncan pick up booster, a Stageclix radio system, and any day now a Mini Thumpinator. I presume, working from the guitar back to the amp, it will be radio receiver into the pick up booster, booster into the Thumpinator and then into the amp.... What do you think?
I dont see any problem with that
 13. And some of Deke live and that lovely Welsh accent , bless him http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knNAStZ9Qfw

 15. One other thing, there's a debate as to where to stick it in the chain, assuming you have other pedals First or last ? I guess suck it and see.
 16. Yup, as stated 2.1 mm Neg tip, like any Boss pedal PS and others of that ilk Mine is run off of my power bank ...no problems
 17. Be Good To Youself At Least Once A Day and Rhinos Winos And Lunatics were some of our gang's standard fayre music back in the 70's when i were a lad, although Deke wasn't in the line up of Be Good after being sacked, but he was on Rhinos after folding Iceberg Another irreplaceable loss

 24.
He did so in the late 70's while remaining very much active in music, and later sold the estate to an environmental organisation, back in the 90's I believe.
15,000 acre Strathaird estate on Skye to the John Muir Trust Anderson didnt care about the cash ( 3/4 million ) so he could be fussy and the JM trust got it becuase it was going to be preserved for conservation "I didn't want to sell the estate to some hunting shooting, fishing type " unquote.
