1. We've had 4 drummers and all have spontaneously exploded. You couldn't make it up
2. There's no help available for Cach's body
3. Following Paypal's rules by the letter does not guarantee success for any seller. I 've been a member of Ebay / Paypal for 13 years and still got scammed, more than once, despite doing the right thing
4. If one is selling rather than buying, PP gift payment is fine, because it gives no protection to the buyer. Selling and using the Goods & Services of PP where fees are incurred by the seller is where the buyer can do a chargeback, if they're going to scam you. And 9 out of 10, they fall on the side of the buyer in those cases. Bank transfer is fine on BC if you have decent sales feedback / a track record. As is Paypal gift. Both require trust that the seller is genuine You cannot insist on Bank transfer on Ebay. Its either Paypal ( with fees ) or cash only when collecting in person. This last option naturally cuts out many many potential buyers
5. Assuming you go for it and pay upfront, what's the deal if one of the headline band members falls ill, or does a Zappa and falls off stage and breaks a leg and the tour is cancelled ? How easy would it be to get your money back ? Seems to me that you need to look at the fine print. The devil is always in the detail and usually only a lawyer can find it

8. A weird-ish track for PF but very slick http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cv5uuhkS4j8
9.
FINALLY, a sport I might get decent at
I'm already profficient in this area - join the club !
10.
I'm old and dim, but just because a bass has been plek'd to optimum performance, that doesn't mean it's necessarily optimum performance for my (lack of) style/technique? Or am I talking cobblers as usual
Talking cobblers is a sport - and highly amusing . Carry on
11. Steady now nothing. Are you familiar with the phrase ' we're all different ' ? I merely stated my preference for the first 2 albums. My taste may not be the same as yours. Unless you think everyone needs to like anything you like
12. Good lord I thought poodle rock had died many moons ago. Blimey - that takes me back. Joey Tempest had THE funkiest bouffon, no question. He out-bouffoned Jon Bon Jovial
13.
s. I always preferred Roger's grumpy, whinging and occasionally manic style to Fat Dave's sleepy blues, although the two together obviously work very well. My fave Floyd-related moment is "Amused To Death". It is utterly fantastic.
PS wasn't that the almighty Jeff Beck on gitwrist duties ?
14. I only liked the first 2 albums she made, but they were absolute beauts and utterly timeless. The musicians were top grade too
15. That was unknown to me T, but yes a very poignant piece it was
16. Another Wright track, written and sung http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imfR5M9ZXBs
17. And this Waters track from the 'MORE ' album http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfPVM5dFlp8
18. I may be a bit out there, but one of my all time fave Floyd tracks was written and sung by Richard Wright http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBC86e5cT5U
19. I had a similar scenario when i met a rhyth guitarist who, after few chats and and some weeks had gone by, suddenly asked me to join his band cos the bass man had moved to the wilds of Dorset I did, and after a few rehearsals, i knew they weren't for me. I'm no Karn or Jones but the lead guitarist was pants. He did this kinda shredding ' look at how fast i can play ' over just about every track, whether it needed it or not. I used to wince inside every time. The drummer never, i mean never used his hi-hats. They were permanently closed. And he was a shed builder that couldnt keep time. The singer thought he was special but was the exact opposite. I quit. There was no way i was going to gig with this motly crew. So instead of wasting their time and mine, i did the decent thing
20. PS my Sire MM has a side mounted jack and i can see the device and lights perfectly
21. Another XVIVE user here. Amazon again, though the price appears to have increased to £119 No problems at all - just switch on, set channel, and off we went. Latency ? Didnt hear any. Brilliant idea. Just charge before any gig to be sure
22. And even less serious.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKWiKNMKhgQ
