1. Spookily, the cab never did the festival scene You'd think it had been gigged at a zoo before i gave it its wash & brush up, though weird
2. This thread has gone in a somewhat unsavoury direction Discreets hanging gardens of Babylon, someone feeding a sausage to a German, a poster has spat coffee over his screen, and there's congealed vomit. Nurse ...!!
3. Lot of 80s & 90's here .. Robert Palmer / Radiohead / but venture into the 70's as well ( Doobies ) and one or 2 into the 2000's ( King King ) Markbass 604 pair / Carvin BX1600 or Kustom Groove Bass 1200. Selling the Carvin so now only use the Kustom. FX board - Digitech BSW / Danelectro Chorus / EHX Micro Q / Rowin Flanger / Mooer Octave / Pitch Black
4.
Outstanding. Once my Chalfonts have cleared up we can get the ball rolling. So to speak.
Sorry to hear about your Farmers. Perhaps we could squeeze them into a money shot ?
5. I'm a wildlife photographer! ...hey, yeah I could see that working
6. A non moulting model ?
7. Perhaps they can do my hairy cabs
8.
I usually give my cars an annual clean Missed a couple of FL Sundays (despite The Wirebirds supposedly being 'co-hosts' with Drivin' Sideways) because of gigging commitments. Should be there end of this month.
An annual clean ? You utter slob, and the mark of a good bassman Probably see you at FL later this month then dave
9.
I don't suppose 'not giving a damn' would be an option for you guys? One of my Ashdown combos has a carpet covering and is covered in cat hair (we don't have a cat) and various other stuff, but as I don't eat off it, I don't care.
Well i know many pals who clean their cars when they get covered in road muck, but then they dont eat off their cars, so you could ask them, why bother ? Hey Dave - didnt see you at Fat Lils recently ??
10. I can see that working for surface sh*te but after the short back and sides with the clippers, i had to physically pick out the hairs and grass stalks, as they had embedded themselves. No amount of tape would shift those. Vinyl covering !!
11. I have a blow torch. Perhaps i could stand further back
12. Is it just me ? I've just spent the best part of 30 mins shaving one of my carpeted cabs. Luckily i have a Wahl leccy clipper which cleans up the straggling black carpet fibres that eventually form on top of the carpet covering, quite nicely. What the shaver doesnt do, is pick out all the hairs ( where the hell do they come from ? I dont even own a pet ) or get rid of what looks like short grass stalks, maybe 1/2" long. This cab has never seen a lawn What is it with cab builders that make use of this infernal covering that, without even trying, seems to attract every bit of flotsam and detritus, small babies, toupees , specks of debris from outer space, blah de blah ? Why not just make cabs with a vinyl covering ? Jeeeeeeeez it cant be anymore expensive, shirley ? * relax, eat a prozac, relax, have a beer, relax, breathe , relax *

Although i knew Chromium is added for anti rust, i didnt know about a few of the other contents, so i just learnt something too. Skool is cool

Stash SS

I was only guessing But I know SS has chromium content. Just found this on the internetweb... Stainless steel is a metal alloy, made up of steel mixed with elements such as chromium, nickel, molybdenum, silicon, aluminum, and carbon. Iron mixed with carbon to produce steel , is the main component of stainless steel. Chromium is added to make it resistant to rust.

It depends on the chrome content, doesnt it ? Forks wont be that great a quality Yeah that string spacing could even be too tight for Warwick Davis
