1. Do you think dropfile / dropbox or whatever the damn name is, would affect the quality after upload ? Not really wanting to get a soundcloud account
2. Recently played through someone else's amp as i couldnt be bothered to take my own rig, and was really surprised at the tone. It was one of the Electric Blue combos .. a 180, so it said. 180 watt ?? Have no idea about wattage, or drivers ( size and how many ) but simply thought what a wonderful tone. Thing is, if i were playing with the rest of our over driven over loud band with 2 gittards, i'd get swallowed up Do Ashdown make an exact copy of this little combo, in a bigger package ? I'm also assuming, rightly or wrongly, that this little combo was old-ish, just because of the way it looked.. great big knobs, on/off switch on the back, .. just looked like it had been built way back
3. Good point Tom - i guess the quality has suffered due to format change from WAV ( which the studio gave us ) to MP3 so i could load it to Soundclick, as they dont accept WAVs Maybe there's a better place to upload .. dropfile ? or is it dropbox ? The whole day was fairly cheap ..£150 quid for 8 hours including mix down, so the engineer wasn't going to spend too much time fussing over it.
4. Just nipped into the studios and popped down a few tracks for posterity ( and band Farcebook page ) We needed a live sound, because we cant live up to a polished sound at gigs, so instruments recorded live with a guide vocal and crooner did his vocal separately over the recorded tracks, but in the same live room so he got the same reflections , and whatnot All the bloopers are there, bum notes, speedy up tubbist, blah blah... just like normal http://www.soundclic...d=13342249&q=hi http://www.soundclic...d=13342250&q=hi

21. Our rhythm gittard actually owns a Washburn of the same ilk , and i found it a pain in the buttockial region when i tried it. It hung at a completely different point to where my headed basses hang, and so i found i was playing the wrong frets at first, thinking my fretting hand was at the same position as it normally was. And the lack of headstock freaked me for a bit. I'm sure if i played one for longer, i'd get used to it cosmetically and functionally and of course, they are popular with many bassists, including other headless axes like the beautiful Statuses Call it a lack of talent and unable to adapt, but i couldnt hack it ... my bad !
