3. For those who dont like / cant deal with Ebay - go to official dealer Simon, where i got mine. Same price as Ebay "][email protected]
4. Indeed - if it wasn't for the BSW on my board, and the wah on number 1, i'd keep it but pedals have to earn their space, and the BSW does more than wah too, so thats the keeper
5. Up to the roof

7. £50 in UK for Beymas, £58 for Betas, although if you buy 4 Betas its just under £228, but its only a £4 saving. There's no buy 4 deal on the Beymas, but the Blue Aran guy sent them post free., £200 for 4
8. Just an update - these upgrades/mods were worth every penny. They have so much more ' control ' ? than the Betas, they also seem more balanced re. frequencies, if thats possible. No problem with the low end, but then I keep the ART Tube preamp 40hz +- button @ - 12db anyways No loss of volume that i can detect , probably be cause they are better specced than the Betas and the porting has helped, despite lower output of the Beymas. But then who takes notice of watts anyways ? Kerrapp explanation but rather hard to find the appropriate words. Its hard to imagine why the Beymas are cheaper than Betas. Still, not complaining about price, as i got £140+ for the Betas, so just spent nearly £60 on the Beymas, and the good chap at Blue Aran ( great to deal with IME ) caved in to my haggling and sent them free postage. There wasn't a lot of profit for him in the first place so fair play to the guy. I doubt if he would have sent them gratis had i not ordered 4 at once, though. Happy Camper here. Listen to the gurus folks - they know what they're doing

Nux Pedals

Has anyone tried one of the Chorus pedals ? There seems to be a few options, starting with the ' CORE ' range.... the white NUX Chorus Core, then there's the yellow NUX CH-3 Vintage ( 1 less knob than the Chorus Core ) Then we have the slightly dearer, funky looking shiny metal Biyang range, with the CH-8 and CH-7 Analog Choruses , and i cant see what the difference is between them, just looking at the pics. Plus the Biyang CH-10 There's the Daphons and Joyos, but i'm not sure about those. I'm dubious about buying a Chorus pedal without user reviews, because some of them eat your low end http://www.donnerdeal.com/pedal/chorus.html
17. Thats gotta be the fastest solution to a problem ever ! Those links may well come in handy for the future too, so they've been bookmarked
18. Heaven for £22
19. Well.. no need to go hunting anymore - the king of bollocks suggestion made me go look at my knobs again. Many of them didnt fit , but i found another few buried in the clutter. Low & behold - knobbage norvegicus Thanks for all the help, bretheren. Knobless disaster averted
20.
If you click the little pdf document symbol it'll show you a spec sheet.
Thanks for that B ...didnt even realise those icons were clickable ! Yes, i can see some of those being the right type. Thx !
21.
If the rest of the shaft is 6 or 6.3mm diameter then it shouldn't matter if you put a round screw locking type on it. You can set the screw to fit against the flat edge. I'm having no end of trouble finding knobs for my amp, 4mm shafts, bloody stupid thing!
Never thought of that, bollock. Maybe one of my box of knobs will fit !
22. I had quarter pounders way back in early 2000 and struggling to remember the tone of them, but dont remember going ' wow' when hearing them in my bass for the first time, unlike these beauties
23.
http://www.doctortwe...2lr&shop_param= Tweek's knob collection...
Some nice links here folks, cheers, but none seem to show you the fitting inside / underneath stating that. Maybe a phone call to them would help Thanks so far chaps, didnt know there was that many options out there. Would have been 100% easier if the NUX pedal shaft was round - damn them
