    Was my back up fretless - ( yeah 2 fretlesses ! ) but the current financial climate means it has to go. A couple of small blems here and there but other than, she's a good 'un. Can be collected / tried out in West Oxfordshire, or posted for £15. The Fender padded case is free because it will help with packing , with extra cardboard and stuff.     Well, i guess i may be the only one, but this site is now so slow loading pages, that its become a complete frustration. The previous site pages loaded in a flash, and there was nowt wrong with it from my own POV.

    Jonny - i'd take the cab if you got the patience and time to wrap the cab in some fierce looking cardboard - i can then arrange a courier to collect on a day of your choosing

I do know that these Platinum Grade 12AU7 Radio Technique, ( French... Owned by the Dutch Philips Corp ) are $110 for a pair !!! You may be better off by putting the EHX originals back in and selling off the 12AU7's to enthusiasts

    Ooooer So the specs on the 2 amps above could be correct and not typos ? One of them will bridge to 4 ohms, and other only bridges to 8 ohms , despite both being able to run each channel separately into 4 ohms ? I hate tech

    Thanks chaps Well if either of those amps can do each channel into 4 ohms , EG run 2 cabs, each with 4 ohms, then surley it can run 1 x 4 ohm speaker with the channels bridged, no ? Its not like I'm asking the amp to run lower than 4 ohms using a single 4 ohm cab, so i assume its no big deal

    Cheers Alex I posted those specs direct from the ads. It seems to me then that the 2nd spec listed is a typo. Perhaps it should read Bridge 500 watts into 8 ohms ?

    Just need something clearing up .. If the spec of a 2 channel power amp is say : 2x300W RMS at 4 ohms 2x200W RMS at 8 ohms bridge 600W RMS at 8 ohms. Does this mean it wont bridge into 4 ohms ? Its not mentioned in the spec Here's some spec from the same manufacturer, but different power amp 2x250W RMS at 4 ohms 2x150W RMS at 8 ohms Bridge 500W RMS 4 ohms so does this mean this one wont bridge into 8 ohms ?

    Note strange holes in alloy casings - thats me doing some DIY lightening. Has the Superfly digital clock whine, but mine is blessed with a very quite one. Can hardly notice it. Few scratches here and there from life on the raod This head has been gigged without missing a beat for the last 4/5 years. Reliable and predictable as a Priest sweating at a creche. Original girlie blouse transport cover and strap included [b]£90 + £12 PP[/b]
