1.
w. I seem to remember mine was listed as a "Vantage Mystic" Cheers
Mystic sounds so much more funky than VP710b By the way Muzz - whats that stonking looking bass in your Av ?
2. I reckon thats the VP 710B. AFAIK, the VS were all 1 x P pups The VP 820B had a jazz at the bridge and P at the neck. Yours is the same as my old one - 2 x P pups
3. Hey - they look real funky. Like a cross between a CT and a Clement. Nice !!
4.
This thread cracked me up! Ask for advice and throw your toys out the pram when you don't get it quick enough! Am I better off overpaying on my mortgage given we're on a tracker, or should I put the extra money available due to a low interest rate into an ISA? Quick. The Meter's running you bastards!
You could always have a go at starting your own thread instead of pissing over Greenkings.
5. Time to shift this beasty on, hopefully 325 watts RMS into internal 15" speaker. No extension cab required Has input gain, deep switch ( use carefully ) bass, mid + mid shape shift, treble knobs XLR D.I. out + pre/post EQ D.I. 9 band graphic send / return jacks The bad bits : Not all of the graphic sliders work. Seems that the first 5 are ok, but what doesnt work on those is more than catered for by the Treble dial. There's stacks of top end available on this combo. Seems almost odd to have a treble knob and treble on a graphic too..but there ya go. I can get all the top end i need without the last of the sliders. Mute doesnt work either, although the effect light comes on. Anyways - theres tons of gruntage from this combo - it'll certainly blow a TE 300 watt combo apart in tone. I've had one of those too, and i reckon thats fair comment. Only asking £90 - i must be on crack or something. Collection only though, but can be tried out in case anyone thinks i'm bluffing

7.
Its just a way of getting your listings in order and together with finish times one after the other. He will revisit the listings and edit them over the next few days to make sense of them. I've done it myself. Sorry if I popped any balloons....
But Ebay has an option to schedule all listings at whatever time one picks. He could have had 300 items for sale, and could have them all starting and finishing one after the other. He really doesnt need to go through all the hassle of putting 15 auctions, without any info, and then go back and have to fill them in later. He should have sorted all his descriptions and photos on each, uploaded it and then specified the start and end time, and done the same for the following 14.
8. Ok - no worries on the 2x10 - I plumped for Ants BBT210 in another thread. Right - if you reckon its 8 ohms, its either the 1502DT-8 or 1505DT-8. Either way, peavey BW's are excellent speakers. 50,000 reviews cant be wrong
9. Hehe - no thanks bud. I'm after an empty 2 x 10 cab though, around the size of the Hartke TP 210 or XL 210 ?? Or bigger if need be
10. I'll help you out with the specs. If its a 1501DT it'll be 4 ohm and may well say on the speaker 1501DT-4 If its a 1502DT it could be either 4 or 8 ohm, and will be stated 1502DT-4 or 8 If its a 1505DT it could be either 4 or 8 ohm, and will be stated 1505DT -4 or 8 It could be a 1504DT-4 and only in 4 ohm, like the 1501 DT-4 , but the 1504 was designed to be used with a horn. whatever the speaker, the ratings will be 350 watts RMS and weight of 17 LBs
11. Does that also work in reverse , Like a 50w/4ohm amp into an 8 ohm speaker would only lose 1.5db, The difference being Still barely audible ?
12. That has to be a steal at that price. Chew his arms off !!
13. Fair play Spoom. I guess you're gonna have to raid the piggy bank on this one. Even though you've done the drawings, i have the feeling that its a lot more costly to build a one off to a customers designs, due to the builder not having templates off the shelf.
14. Twice now you've been recommended a UK Bass builder but ignored it both times. Do you have a problem with ACG basses and their design ? Is it some big secret about who's going to build it ?
15. You building it yourself, or getting a Luthier to build it ? After seeing some of his basses dotted around the net, i reckon ACG would make that into a monster He's in the uK and his prices are reckoned to be excellent
16. Samsontech, which i think is the MotherShip of Hartke, list this cab as 250 watt RMS. Not a lot less, but worth noting, and also they dont list the weight either. Bit worrying
17. Whats the spec on the 210 ? Is it the BBTS 210 ? 8 or 4 ohms etc. Price ( if you'll split the rig )
18.
I like those guitars with invisible leads...
Hey thats showbiz !

Ernie Isley is a geeeeeetar god http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEviQgKOPlA AWB ( watch for the Yamaha Motion B bass at 1.20 ish ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFzNXUUSFF0
20. More Pino - what tone ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTWt_pKiMl4
21.
+1 I'm not really too fussed what a bunch of Americans want to do with there money anyway.
yeah, why would ya. I mean its not like they're real people. Even though they play bass, they live too far away, and they dont not speak English like wot we do innit ? sheeeesh
