  1. RM are contracted to put those leaflets/tramp's toilet paper through your letter box. Blame the muppets who want you to buy their ' see through chastity briefs ' and whatnot
  2. That just sounds like a savvy seller. It surprises me that some are surprised when they see capitalism at work, when we've been living in a capitalist society for eons. Luckily, we're not forced to buy overpriced consumer goods
  3. Another big fan here. I saw them live in the 80's. What an immense band they were and thoroughly unique. Still got about 5 of their CD's ...Tubes, Young n Rich, Now, Remote Control and Completion Backward Principle. Young and Rich is the masterpiece IMO Anderson had the longest hair i'd ever seen on a muso. Very sad indeed.
  4. I remember that way back - was it Roland Rivron as the compare / judge ? Tres hilarious The translator spelt Gilmour's name wrong as Gilmore. Call me M'lady, ya bastard. Excellent
  5. Sorted ! After all this time. Bluddy manuals are useless. Cheers EBS Test track... all's good test.mp3
  6. Yes - i checked settings and Auto Level Mode is enabled. I thought this let the Tascam sort things out. Wrong ! I'll give that a try, thanks monsieur freak. Handily i already have audacity
  7. Yay ! The Celestions were never an option anyway, as Bill told ya. Pathetic xmax of only 2.5mm. No good for bass, so you're only choice was Eminence. But the EBS originals is the best result possible, and no modelling software needed.
  8. Been trying to use this to record rehearsals, but every track recorded, without fail, has about 4/5 seconds of very bad distortion at the start of all tracks, then becomes clear after about 4/5 seconds. I'm sure this is me not setting something correctly, but i've tried a lot of things in the menu, but it just keeps on happening. Any tips welcome
  9. I just went back and re-read that thread. Nope, no idea. Again.
  10. Asking buyers to send back the item for a refund can sometimes be a bit dodgy as well. It has been known for unscrupulous scum to send back a parcel of rubbish in place of the real item. They must send back using ' signature required ' Once the item has been signed for, the sender/buyer now has proof for Ebay that they returned the item and that you signed for it. This only works in certain circumstances though. Living too close to each other is likely to end up with a personal visit.
  11. If you liked Inbetween Days, you'll probably like Close To Me , both of which are on The Head On The Door album I love Lullaby too, on Disintegration album
  12. Yes, some of the shops i was looking at also were also out of stock. They were everywhere when i bought mine a couple of years ago for £150. Seems that the G90 is out now, maybe as a replacement, but i wouldnt pay that price https://www.pmtonline.co.uk/line-6-relay-g90-rack-mountable-wireless-guitar-system
  13. Small business UK luthier is all i was posting. I dont care if Robin has an assistant.

  15. They sound like a zillion other basses, but over priced.
  16. After owning the Xvive set, and them refusing to charge up after a poxy 2 years, and of course they're sealed so the batteries cant be replaced ( clever eh ? ) , i decided to go for quality and bought the Line 6 Relay G75 kit. Outstanding. That's if you can find one. They seem to be in short supply right now. https://www.andertons.co.uk/line-6-wireless-guitar-offer
