  1. Aye ya do have to be good, i agree. Saw Zappa in London, 70's - outrageously good
  2. Indeed, but these guys are just a pizz take. But damn good. I've had the Un-Led-ED CD for nearly 30 years. Performing the songs of Led Zeppelin in a reggae style and sung by a Las Vegas Elvis impersonator
  3. Demon's Eye, Flight of The Rat, Speed King.
  4. GMO what a bore. Dont ask that guy the time unless you want to know how a watch works. Bass mistake ? Of course not
  5. Good answer, and that'll work, but any idea why back button doesnt work properly when searching ?
  6. I noticed a long time ago, that using the back button ( i only speak of using BC on a Pooter ) only works properly if not doing an internal search I have no idea if this is a forum software fault or browser ( Firefox ) EG open the basses for sale, scroll to midway down the page, look at a bass, then backbutton and it goes back to last position. Now try searching for something, say 4 string fretless within basses for sale, and when the list opens scroll down midway or futher, see a bass, open the page, then backbutton, and you go right back to the top of the page, instead of the last position you were at. Not life or death but a bit annoying
  7. Aye, he was superb. Kings and Queens, Love Like Blood etc. Sad he died so young at 46
  8. I saw them live at Trafalgar square in 1980 at a CND rally My pick would be the the ultra dangerous track, Change. Included on the US release of their first album. Then a bit later, became the B side of the single Requiem Martin Youth Glover on bass.
  9. Adds about 2 oz to a bass. Hardly a disaster in weight increase
  10. You could just strip a regular bass down and get it hydro dipped in Carbon. Plenty of Hydro Dippers around. https://vitalhydrographic.co.uk/
  11. Great contribution. Knobbish post in a thread you care nothing about.
  12. They could be asleep
  13. RM are contracted to put those leaflets/tramp's toilet paper through your letter box. Blame the muppets who want you to buy their ' see through chastity briefs ' and whatnot
  14. That just sounds like a savvy seller. It surprises me that some are surprised when they see capitalism at work, when we've been living in a capitalist society for eons. Luckily, we're not forced to buy overpriced consumer goods
  15. Oh hell, have some ..
  16. Another big fan here. I saw them live in the 80's. What an immense band they were and thoroughly unique. Still got about 5 of their CD's ...Tubes, Young n Rich, Now, Remote Control and Completion Backward Principle. Young and Rich is the masterpiece IMO Anderson had the longest hair i'd ever seen on a muso. Very sad indeed.
  17. Barrel jacks are the Bar Steward spawn of Beelzebub.
  18. I remember that way back - was it Roland Rivron as the compare / judge ? Tres hilarious The translator spelt Gilmour's name wrong as Gilmore. Call me M'lady, ya bastard. Excellent
  19. Sorted ! After all this time. Bluddy manuals are useless. Cheers EBS Test track... all's good test.mp3
  20. Yes - i checked settings and Auto Level Mode is enabled. I thought this let the Tascam sort things out. Wrong ! I'll give that a try, thanks monsieur freak. Handily i already have audacity
  21. Yay ! The Celestions were never an option anyway, as Bill told ya. Pathetic xmax of only 2.5mm. No good for bass, so you're only choice was Eminence. But the EBS originals is the best result possible, and no modelling software needed.
  22. distort mp3.mp3
