  1. Been trying to use this to record rehearsals, but every track recorded, without fail, has about 4/5 seconds of very bad distortion at the start of all tracks, then becomes clear after about 4/5 seconds. I'm sure this is me not setting something correctly, but i've tried a lot of things in the menu, but it just keeps on happening. Any tips welcome
  2. I just went back and re-read that thread. Nope, no idea. Again.
  3. Asking buyers to send back the item for a refund can sometimes be a bit dodgy as well. It has been known for unscrupulous scum to send back a parcel of rubbish in place of the real item. They must send back using ' signature required ' Once the item has been signed for, the sender/buyer now has proof for Ebay that they returned the item and that you signed for it. This only works in certain circumstances though. Living too close to each other is likely to end up with a personal visit.
  4. If you liked Inbetween Days, you'll probably like Close To Me , both of which are on The Head On The Door album I love Lullaby too, on Disintegration album
  5. 👍
  6. Yes, some of the shops i was looking at also were also out of stock. They were everywhere when i bought mine a couple of years ago for £150. Seems that the G90 is out now, maybe as a replacement, but i wouldnt pay that price https://www.pmtonline.co.uk/line-6-relay-g90-rack-mountable-wireless-guitar-system
  7. Small business UK luthier is all i was posting. I dont care if Robin has an assistant.

  9. They sound like a zillion other basses, but over priced.
  10. After owning the Xvive set, and them refusing to charge up after a poxy 2 years, and of course they're sealed so the batteries cant be replaced ( clever eh ? ) , i decided to go for quality and bought the Line 6 Relay G75 kit. Outstanding. That's if you can find one. They seem to be in short supply right now. https://www.andertons.co.uk/line-6-wireless-guitar-offer
  11. Who's Ed Sheeran ?
  12. I was under the impression that ParcelForce do not cover musical instruments, unless their T&C's have changed. They'll take your money, of course, but wont pay out in the event of your bass getting damaged or lost. They'll just point you to their T&C's. So anyone using them is taking a big risk
  13. Get any courier with a good name ( difficult i know ) but when filling in the value , list it as zero Then go to securus and insure separately for the full amount. https://www.secursus.com/en-gb/ 1500 quid value = 15 quid insurance
  14. Unusual, but well played IMO
  15. Hasn't even logged in here since Feburary.
  16. Oh hell yes .. And oh hell yes mk 2
  17. All a bit of a mystery. Still, no hurry right now. I dont need one till next year. Perhaps things will change in a couple of months
  18. Thanks H 6.96 Euro is a good price, but the shipping is 8.95 Euro ... ouch ! I'll keep that link just in case i have no luck elsewhere in the UK.
  19. Ah yes, i know. They dont have any. I did search many many sites long before i posted here
  20. I did try them but they only have the short shaft ( 6mm ) instead of the regular / medium 9.5mm
  21. Kiogon might be good to try. Armstrong only have split shaft in 250k Lin
  22. Can anyone point me to any shop selling a CTS 250k Solid Shaft Linear pot ? Forget Ebay. Northwest Guitars offer one , which i bought, and when it turned up it was a Log pot. I messaged them , and they said that auction was for an Audio Taper pot only, but failed to see that their auction actually said it was for either Log or Lin. Numpties. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/372533109535?hash=item56bcb4231f:g:EYkAAOSwkA9iQEL8&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA8I4hXZYtK%2FFtodkVWU%2F8cGAYKQPSPgd5blPpB6AXV4D9%2BpBvPaEfCLUU3XG4qF7wQyycTQeOFeQu61fZ2Eh47mFvbi2cmRPM5yL7jARhO1EDZOGW4RZSjxugIryivAYZ4%2FtbeRePLBIiNzXPlMyUFGqXsLt43H95kc9e06oBBh9SFA9bpIc09JiryM2sbEmpXv42wKYXB63nzHzUVjYPg9NlIKKz5bOA3sclmkuvVMUiawjRxUwVsMQn3%2FYwCRm%2B%2FfsVzDqSNzDRPhcpdcHCjDb2Xj61bbQIl5tVc2gYkcb1gKcQDmM9lKuiUiGBmkhQzA%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR5TW7qiVYQ It seems they're rarer than a straight answering politician
  23. I thoroughly enjoyed that. In a simple twist of fate, DB is not an instrument that really floats me, but DB supremo Danny Thompson is one of my all time fave bassers. All of the contestants were top bananas, but for me it was Emma on sax that took the biscuit, and Luke on piano. I also loved that drummer in the backing band.
