I bought a monster axe from Reidys recently, and the said axe was 250 quid cheaper than anyone else, incuding the usual suspects So i give them a thumbs up, matron

I was struggling to find the right words, but finally.... -
I made an official complaint, and the list now goes to 11. Might be a joke in there somewhere
-
I'm gutted that its only 10 Surely it should go to 11 ?
-
I've been using a trs / stereo cable as is required , but i guess its not the cable.
-
Delivered ahead of time - marvellous ! Didnt work - ballocks ! So maybe its not momentary. Since Mark Gooday emailed saying their Ashdown FS2 latching would do the job, i guess i'll be heading in that direction
-
Oh dear Did you have a quick rub down today with The Morning Star ?

He deserves every penny.

Just copy and post the the whole URL, as ped has stated. Its that simple. Then you get a choice of whether you want the URL left as a link or posting the video so it embeds.

A while ago i was on the hunt for some alternative round wound nickel over round core strings, and being as i have previously liked DR Sunbeams, i thought i'd see what else was out there. Found GHS boomers round wound over round cores, but couldnt find any in the UK from the usual suspects, but did find some on Amazon UK, but posted from the USA. That was the 3rd Nov order date. I ordered 2 packs. One pack turns up today, and on the note inside ze jiffy bag, it says the other order will follow on. I assume the order was from the same company so wondering why they didnt put the other pack of strings in the same jiffettski bag ? I suppose it could be that i'd purchased the last set of those strings, and now have to wait for the USA dealer ( or indeed USA Amazon ) to send another pack. Seems a tad inefficient, but i guess they have their reasons Good price though

Punt taken Wont be here till late Dec /January ??? according to Amazon Maybe the builder grows them from seed

Indeed Dan, i'm tempted at the price just to try it. Assuming the chaps in the old thread are correct and the TE footswitch really is momentary, ( no reason to believe otherwise ) then surely the Musky will work. AS for the Ashdown latching footswitch working properly, i'm not totally at ease with that, judging by what happens with your own footswitch
-
While i was thinking about things, i decided to email Mark Gooday, and got an answer within a couple of hours, and he reckons the Ashdown footswitch does the job. I'm sure if anyone knows, he will, but the Ashdown is apparently a dual latching , not dual momentary, so i;m wondering how this could work ? https://www.andertons.co.uk/guitar-dept/electric-guitar-amps/electric-guitar-amp-accessories/amp-footswitches/ashdown-fs2-2-way-footswitch Aside from that, its smaller than the original but not as small as the Mosky
-
I'm only aware of them, but never used their services. I also cannot find this so called B Stock option on their webby

I've previously used the first version of the Xvives, and no problem with either passive or active basses, but after a couple of years, the internal batteries decided to no longer charge up, which was disappointing, considering i paid well over 100 quid for them. I moved onto the Line 6 relay G75 which is so much better, and wasnt much more expensive, but a thoroughly better system IMO
-
Cheers Dan, but one of the reasons i like the look of the Mosky is the tiny footprint, and it will fit on the last small piece of real estate left on my pedal board, whereas the TE will have to be placed on the floor. Gesture appreciated though !!
-
Hi Dan I wonder if thats because the switch should be momentary , and not latching like yours ? I have no talent for electronics
-
Some time ago now, i asked about alternative dual footswitches for a Trace Elliot graphic / pre-shape dual footswitch, thinking the original TE job was a latching type, but was told by some folk a lot cleverer than me that the TE original is a momentary type. The TE gurus like @TheGreek and @Deedee and others, know the footswitch well...photo added, but would any dual momentary switch still work ? I found these... but i'm not sure, and dont want to connect anything that could fack up the amp The Bright Onion pedal has other options, which is confusing. Check the Polarity drop down box to see what i mean https://www.brightonion.co.uk/mini-dual-momentary-footswitch/ The Vein-tap one also has some Polarity options that i dont understand https://www.vein-tap.com/product/skinny-little-twins-dual-momentary-footswitch/ And this Muslady Mosky looks to be the simplest of all and would be my favourite because of its simplicity. And good price https://www.amazon.co.uk/Muslady-MOSKY-SWITCH-Footswitch-Switch/dp/B07GRP1S9L

Why not stage the rehearsal room like a hairdressing / nail salon. For reasons only the big blonde clown knows, apparently hair cuts and trimmed nails are essential, and very important
