  1. Yeah I've been eyeing up a p7 aswell. Look really good. Seen a few people say the squire necks aren't as nice as the sites. Thanks
  2. Looking at getting a 5 string. Stuck on these 2. Both roughly same price. Squire contemporary 5 string jazz or the Sire Marcus Miller V3P5 Anyone owned or played both. Pros - Cons? Thanks in advance Squire - https://www.thomann.co.uk/fender_sq_cont_j_bass_gunmetal_v.htm Sire - https://www.thomann.co.uk/marcus_miller_v3p_5_bks.htm
  3. At the moment really into local band - Goat major. Really good if in to doom metal or that type of music https://youtu.be/oebXDznAQdY?si=ARBigo7x0G9XqBh5
  4. Vintage stingray copy as gothed out as I can get it
  5. So it's only half the band if Ive read it right. 3/6 original members in the band. The OG drummers parted ways and the OG guitarist isn't touring or doing live stuff is that right? Was excited to hear the new stuff. Could be a grower but I'm not overly keen from the live come back gig. Could possibly be bad sound or something but wasn't great. Says me, 36 and unable to play a full song without mistakes 😂😂
  6. Yeah its really slippy to be fair. That's true il see if I can source some. Prob be easier to get a new strap mind for the faff 😂
  7. Yeah il look into it and invest in one. Thanks all
  8. Thanks. Will check them out
  9. Hi mate. Sorry should of been more specific. Yeah like the whole strap moves on my shoulder like neck dive
  10. Hey all, Bass straps started to slip a bit. Any tips or tricks to keep it locked in place? Or any decent recommendations that won't break the bank!? This is what I'm currently using.

    Hey all

That's great thanks. I was actually working my way through some of his videos before, got a new work laptop and lost all the links and forgot the name of the guy/site so that's a huge bonus thank you very much!! Hello study bassers 😂

    Hey all

Hi all. Long time beginner hoping to make a proper crack at it. From Pembrokeshire, Wales UK. Been playing on and off for about 7/8 years but really I'm as good as someone who only just seen a bass for the first time today. Start to get into it then something happens and don't pick it up for months etc etc. Hoping to play more regular. Used to be a drummer for all my sins but due to just the inconvenience of space and pure volume they use while playing, especially having moved to smaller property and new baby at the time, I decided to make the jump to bass. Anyways, have these basses ATM. A vintage fake ray that I've completely gothed out, and this HB jazz I've had for a few years. Lovely to play but oh so heavy. I love metal/rock music so tend to try play songs I know using 'songsterr' which is really my only means of learning. Any advice or pointers on things to learn to help me along the way would be greatly received and appreciated. I'm trying to learn with fingers and picking. Not sure if that's ideal or not? Anyways. Thanks again 🤙🏻🤘🏻
  14. Sorry to hi jack. How do you find the troy sanders bass. It's caught my eye. Looks a beauty
