I see the stats on its processing power and how it’s more powerful than most things out there, but one thing it didn’t say is how it stacks up against the Fractal Axe FX III. That has a 2Ghz chip as well and I think 4Gb RAM, but I can’t find anything to side by side them.
Also I can’t find the actual head to head specs on the FM3, but I am aware that has the guts of the AxeFXIII to all intensive purposes and 4x12 blocks so 48 scenes.
@Kev you have any knowledge on this for a shoot out?
Question I’d like to know or find out.
It can have 2 to 4 rigs.
Can each instrument have their own footswitch/midi switch so they can do their own thing away from the central unit.
I can see how this works on big gigs with all gear off stage and nothing on stage everything timelined and midi switched, but if a band wants to share and have their own switches is that possible?
Here you go...

So NAMM approaches, new paulownia SL bodies and roasted maple neckwill be on show, some new finishes, a VM5 with Aguilar OP2 preamp and Aggie pups and a 30 inch short scale called lionel
Key is how you want to balance the tone/wiring
I tone knob to rule them both with a Vol vol approach, separate tone knobs for each, fully passive, pop a preamp in, push pulls, stacked knobs, a push/pull series parallel etc.
Thats the real fun!
Good work fella, it’s nice to see someone interested in their own personal instrument craft as well as the craft of others, their instruments and what they do for the betterment of a band they are playing in and how they all fit together.
Its the little things even before we get to EQ etc like what pick ups/guitar does the guitarist use, how are the drummers snare/toms etc tuned and how do they play - then you can look at P vs J bass etc. To fit.
Its all about musical sensitivity, intelligence and feel
