  1. Seen him twice Recently What a guy and voice
  2. Looks like I may need to read that one too. Anyone who is a Glen Hughes fan, or not actually should read his - lord knows how he is still alive - but what a guy
  3. Sounds like it will be a good read - thanks for bringing that to my attention
  4. What will they have in stall come 5/11/19?
  5. Bespoke made highly technical pedal board and attachment system with a myriad of effects for any occasion
  6. It’s worthwhile sanding the routes bits down, a little smoothness goes a long way and how are you shielding? A pot of carbon paint is not a lot of lolly and being black also hides a lot of ills
  7. This is completely true, it still befuddles me how some people cannot see/fathom how it may not make a difference, or some arbitrary percent contribution to the sound is conjured up compare to that what pick ups contribute and so forth. It becomes more obvious when you look at the different wood (or materials eg graphite) and feel thee density, properties etc, in the flesh directly comparing them. Important thing - you bass sounds great to you in the config you like having tinkered
  8. If the bushing is too small, I use electrical tape wound around until it’s a tidy fit - it’s completely hidden when all assembled
  9. Indeed - would have to go some to displace a Lehle Sonic Spark, but good to see not just ‘metal’ type stuff
  10. Sharpie on the back of the headstock?
  11. Some great basses out there. I take it personal sig models that you have made for yourself don’t count....?!!
  12. The Bass fairy sprinkling magic on your sound
  13. Have you got the neck heel width dimensions please to work out which pocket it would fit
  14. You also selling that well known possum deterrent spray Poss Off too?
  15. And this gentleman is just that when it comes to deals. GLWTS
  16. Sandberg MarloweDK bass, probably the best jazz bass out there
  17. No fair- I may have to do the honourable thing, should the right thing come along....
  18. Let’s both get one, then we are as bad as each other. Simples
  19. @mcnach Seriously I don’t need egging on (!) and keep looking at the Stingray specials from their new line. I remember trying out their range At the London Bass Guitar show a few years ago and was underwhelmed massively having almost been a dead very for a Caprice and Cutlass - fast forward now - and it’s hard, very hard to resist. Anout the only thing stopping me (money aside which is a big stumbling block!) is being able to just about approximately get the ‘Ray’ sound with what I have and preamps etc. But please keep poking the bear!!
