Creamery - based in Manchester and give him a shout - he’ll let you know what the wait time is and what is in stock. Ulyate will be an import. Ironstone based in the Midlands are very decent pick ups and could do a job, heard them in action. Wizard pick ups are now called hot rod and are continuing his work to spec and are U.K. based - I have a Thumper P bass pick up and it’s hot hot nice. A few more options there

Talking of cheap DI’s and indestructible boxes - the old Hartke VXL will get you pretty much there as well

I quite like that look sometimes, it’s like a racing stripe! But it looks like there is a grounding wire anyway, does it need both?

As well as playing with the settings on the pedal use it in conjunction with rolling the tone knob off and see if you can get to where you want for that sound. Its really difficult when so and so say must use this and that pedal and try to describe in words what it does, as we all hear things differently. You can just about get there with that pedal in all likelihood, but it depends on your context of play, some of the slightly harsher top end may be of benefit to allow you to cut through a mix whilst still getting close to the sound you want.

Instead of 2 string trees there is the Sandberg which does it all. Pick ups - so many out there like SD, Nordy’s, Lindy Fralin So out of left field - Haüssel Ulyate Tic tac’s Joe Barden Creamery There you go!

I get you. i am doing a 2 pick up build at the moment. And only have space for 2 knobs so am going stacked vol vol with a Duo 6 tonestyler. Anyways, with Noll their website is good as they give dimensions for cavity depth etc. German efficiency- seems to have a good rep
-
I am a massive Tonestyler fan, they have a couple of configurations that would work depending if you wanted vol/vol or blend etc
-
Noll electronics in Germany donsome very clever pot solutions

It’s not a bad suggestion, but reading the OP comments it didn’t sound like a whole drop tune, merely lower notes whatever tuning, and rarely Lower than D, which suggests Drop D on a 4 banger as optimal, this can all be half a step down or even drop C
