  1. Does it come with a free hx effects?
  2. It’s difficult this, I feel for you. B&O is fairly standard as a power module as mentioned, but some people use Hypex as a power module, and that may be something worth looking into, the tone is also slightly different. The amp world you will get a myriad of choices Depending on what you want, but also people will tell you what THEY like and that may not be right for you. If you like the Tone Hammer sound you could get the TH pedal from Aguilar relatively cheaply second hand and then get a relatively clean power amp to allow it to shine through. Straight power amps like crown and QSC can give you this, or get something like a Peavy mini max or mini mega which is cheap second hand and should give you what you need to project the pedal. If you like a bit of drive, things like the Tech21 amp range may tickle your fancy. Hope your search goes well
  3. So you are within that time having bought a week ago then?
  4. Not all P’s are the same without listing all the parts that’s pretty obvious, but if the synths are set up for different ‘bits’ for ease of switching that’s cool too
  5. Aaaaaaaaand to answer Cam’s question.......
  6. Yes as well if you know what you are listening for and can combine effectively

  11. @Quatschmacher Ann Peebles is hella cool - probably my fave Motown singer above all the others - her voice just resonates with me like no other. If you like the last one, you will love this. And we all know where Missy Elliot got here song from...
  12. Could be one of these.....
  13. Not mine! But the next job may be like this. Wood stain and silver wax into the grain
  14. Cheers - swamp ash or maple or something with grain it works well (you know all this!) but it’s really cheap as well as most people have wire wool, tea bags and vinegar!
  15. Can’t have been me My time is nasty!
  16. I suppose I do share the opinion of Mrs W at all times, entirely if my own accord........ I’ll be a free man
  17. That’s being a child - being a grown up is precisely the opposite!
  18. Thanks buddy, didn’t want to derail your thread!!! you can go a little more subtle too - this one had judicious blow torching Here they are side by side finished articles For a quick ref. @Jimothey yours looks pucker 💪🏾👍🏾
  19. @ChunkyMunky another way to get the grain to pop on a natural type finish is to use a blow torch, and scorch as much or as little as you want, I did a couple listed on this forum so you can see it’s effect (didn’t post a link so not to derail the OP’s fine work)
  20. I suppose they can’t be bothered to queue
  21. You always wear a hat, bassists get the cast off groupies.....
  22. Yep Thing to remember is that the body holes are glide holes, the screws should only bite in the neck to allow the 2 to compress and be tight, it’s why it also looks easy
