  1. First off the bat - we all want normality. It’s as others have said with flag waiving - AZ is Swedish - there are currently wrangles with its dealings with providing Europe with vaccines, and I wouldn’t brandish with certainty the supply for cost worldwide - it is well reported that South Africa are paying double the cost of EU countries, and other smaller countries will have a torrid time getting vaccines in at decent prices as being poor they have no bargaining chips. Before the - well we are getting our country right argument flops out - it’s short sighted - it’s a global pandemic that needs a global response as guess what, we travel all over the place and mix with everyone and if it’s not under control or partially controlled, it mutates - such as the South African type variant we are seeing. Pretty much no one can polish or roll this turd in glitter
  2. Great deal this for someone GLwTS
  3. Welcome back, 4 string and drop d tuner is where I live
  4. The points being made was not which way anyone would jump, or the decency of the range of DG amps to provide some good sounds, or how to EQ a venue/which presets work where and how they can be tweaked (of course if you play the same venues regularly then the pre-set becomes invaluable as you can set it up for specific venues taking into account the room, and tweak dependent on crowd density), or the cost and how people spend their money so we are getting into mission creep and confounding factors, it was to address the fact it is a new evolution to the line (not the same as) with great capabilities which have much more future proofing in how they can be managed
  5. No one mentioned revolution, evolution was mentioned. If you actually look at and delve into the feature set and capabilities you will see how it’s is different. If you don’t want to that’s fine too, but I cannot see how a snap judgement or generalisation can be made without full knowledge of both.
  6. I would politely suggest this is a world away from TC gear suggested, and an evolution of the front of a DG/AO amp, it’s not as simplistic as that. It looks a great bit of kit, and one to spend decent time with
  7. I am not sure exactly what you mean, aside from dials being given a similar name, and the sliders are an EQ - it’s a different entity albeit without a power amp. Have i missed something?
  8. You can do a lot in GB - it’s loads of fun
  9. Good man - if you can work Garageband then if you want to go full DAW Logic is very similar and of course has loads more 🤘🏾👊🏾💪🏾👌🏾👍🏾
  10. How did you get on with this?
  11. @Dad3353 has a lot of great advice there - from personal experience @Erax Sound is brilliant and a great engineer/producer - defo gold dust from him
  12. I like Big Bucks and I cannot lie....
  13. I think the objection was probably more to turdburst as a colour rather than the shape, and rightly so
  14. BigBottoms all over those - the PB and the Attitude LTD are about as close as they get to a Fender shape
  15. The BB800 body isn’t remotely like the Fender P anyway from the one on sale unless the photos are all squished
  16. Aside from the various treatments, it’s just a finish - I cannot stand Turdburst and barely tolerate tort These worn in bases have an awesome feel to them
  17. So if you can get a converter for a 1/4” Jack down to a 3.5mm (I haven’t looked) then that may do it. Alternatively get a small mixer like a Xenyx 502 and a stereo to Jack cable and that will record - I have done that
  18. What something like this which I used to have and is now lovingly cared for by @DJ '65
  19. Hosco files are great and not that much money if you can find them, especially second hand
  20. So I would say to add to that when recording, always be sat down, it allows you to be more accurate, and that is where the money is - live is more about the vibe. I seem to often have the little finger edge of my hand providing a bit of muting without the classic mute sound as that is how my hand falls naturally in my playing position. Busy is good!
  21. PGP is also really really good as well. I like the KXM format for recording - they generally get together for about 12 days, no pre-written material - let’s see what happens and out pops some great stuff. Lack of live music aside, it’s a shame they would probably never tour, I think Korn are still a little too big for that
