Stripped and refinished and rebuilt these basses...... This started as a slab of ash, currently carving some curves into it so it will be a lighter, contoured 51 P to be finished in natural. This will become something - not sure what yet.....

Used DPD no issues
-
Done TransferWise, IBAN, Revolut - all fine. So far as delivery company - I try to go with who is the best in the destination country. Did some stuff in Hungary and the guy there told me the national postal service was awful, so don’t use Royal Mail as it transfers it to them hence we used DPD. Have done UPS for the same reason, and also Royal Mail/Parcel force And had no issues. Key is address exactly correct (I know it sounds obvious) on the parcel and yours - the Senders address too. When sticking it to the parcel if you don’t have one of those clear plastic sticky bags I sellotape over the address print out so that it can’t get wet/Macerated/destroyed easily

Anybody sold a bass on Reverb, as a non business?
Cuzzie replied to Chewie's topic in General Discussion
Bought on Reverb - domestic and international- no hassles Listed but not sold, only because it sold elsewhere quicker - can’t imagine it would be a problem -
You want on point reviews our very own @Dood aka Dan Veal From Guitar interactive magazine gives very good demo’s. Avoid Patrick Hunter, he makes every pedal sound exactly the same no matter what they are, Basstheworld are reasonable with some nice players, they will showcase the instrument - but - Male your own mind up on the stuff they show, they will never give a negative review as they are paid by the company they are reviewing to do a review so it won’t be entirely impartial. Mr Excane Demi’s are good. Rock Beato is absolute gold dust

Tech21 Power Engine Deuce Deluxe
-
Aye - that one too
-
Some great music DVD’s as well!
-
Awesome choice - Electra have to be one of the best value budget but non budget basses out there - all assembled and QC in the mother factory in Deutschland. If I didn’t like a relic so much, i would be all over them - congrats

Not too far off - kiloton has the pick up more in the sweet spot As opposed to the Ray spot and yes it’s passive Status Shark bass?

G&L L1500 or Kiloton New Sandberg classic Booster - not strictly a single humbucker, but close.
-
Someone on the Sandberg group on Facebook Town is getting rid of their masterpiece Umbo is anyone wants a wiggle.
-
Fantastic - I would add a white pearloid guard As well At the time just so you can switcharoo
-
What do you fancy?
-
Generally configure your bass, save the number, go through a local dealer - as ever remember once configuration you can do things not on the configurator like different pre amp, pick ups etc aside from the stock, but there will be a surcharge
-
But for suggestions Tech21 dUg 1000 Ultrabass Tech21 Landmark 600 Form Factor Bi1000 or Bi400 Genzler Mag 800 No personal experience but like the look of the new Markbass Stu Hamm amp. To name a few
-
You could have an Alembic pre-amp and a power amp of choice - 2U rack trolley bag by Gator - very easy on the back esp with your VK cab
-
This will be a massive can of worms now, everyone will give you what works for them and as good as whatever they say things are, it’s good for them, not necessarily you. If there is a pre-amp rack or pedal you like, why not have that as the basis of your sound and think of the amp as a power amp. You can then either run it clean, or with a bit of flavour, or even just get a clean power amp like a Demeter Minnie, Joules M700, QSC, even a cheaper Peavey max etc.

Love them for their differences. My graphite neck basses sound different to the wood necked basses pick ups aside and lend themselves to different things
-
Good to hear that, I got lucky to play the Cedar prototype, is this the last of the Cedars or the new Paulownia? Paulownia is still a great wood and I agree with the assessment of the pick ups

NBD - Sandberg Grand Dark - This should be it for a while!
