  1. Well deserved buddy - looking lush
  2. Crying out for a Status neck, keep it all black
  3. And it’s on for way too much
  4. You’ll be getting as bad as me soon
  5. Pretty much any USB interface and then use a USB lightning converter
  6. And it’s a great cuppa, with great company
  7. @Wolverinebass is much more adept at using this than I, but broadly speaking....... when you select a ‘sound’ the parameters which the dials represent are set to give you a specific tone. When you turn the dial and you start dialling back the parameter the left number flashes, if you boost that parameter the right number flashes. The controls are interactive in how they effect the sound. Easiest thing to do is to copy the patch into an empty slot and then play, you then never lose the factory preset (it’s absurdly easy to copy and paste the patch). That way you can tinker till you get exactly what you want. Buzz affects low end break up, punch mid range and crunch top end, although they all interact and punch can be a bit more like presence and not just distortion. Drive increases the amount of power amp distortion. Essentially, even if the start point is not to your flavour there is more than enough to reign it in. The presets in the manual are not - “here is where the dials are at” it is “this is what this number patch represents SVT/Jazz/Metal/Hiwatt/Van Hallen etc. Now make it your own” @dave_bass5 I am going to just say it once, just get it....! (But only if you want to put time into tinkering) Its like a good relationship, the more time you put in, the more you get out of it
  8. Either way current climate or not, you would need to wipe it down...
  9. I really feel all you Puny Humans should bow down to the best headstock ever. Your meagre efforts make me smile with pity Behold.......
  10. I play bridge favoured in a blend - 70s works better for me with a slight extra bite
  11. Roasted maple fretboard on a walnut neck - it’s very very nice. @foxyFuze nice choice, that bad boy used to have GZR’s in!
  12. @sykilz @Old Horse Murphy looks like I have a poor man’s worn version of your loves....
  13. Crafted by a genius that.... It’s all evened out mate, you play it better than I could
  14. And you can get the SVT sounding better than that, and that sounds sweet
  15. You are probably right about your stuff, but as you say it’s the form factor is the killer on this, it’s amazing. Easiset thing is you can set up multiple patches for basses/sounds and flip straight to it. If you play guitar as well, you are laughing.
  16. Don’t worry about those tones on YT what Tim does - it’s way more tweakable. This pedal is the nuts, even some of the guitar amps work nicely. The pedal nails the SVT and you can tinker to your own style
  17. Brilliant video Bravo Stradi
  18. Reggae is actually all about the mids
  19. You cannot beat a status neck
