  1. New 3 band Pre-amp as well Looks legit
  2. At some point I may get some time to!!
  3. It is not just about winter pressures easing and summer being the best time to deal with it, and herd immunity........don’t go there on that one. By elongating the phase of people getting it it flattens the peak. Essentially imagine a situation where you had 30 beds available. A massive spike, they are all filled day 1. These people need intensive nursing care for 2-3 weeks at a time. The following day another 30 will need beds - no where to put them, staff at risk etc. And so forth If you can get them in in 2’s and 3’s and by the time the first ones are better, their beds are available then they can go into that. Think a babbling brook as opposed to a waterfall. Its why social distancing and appropriate isolation is important
  4. Even amongst AlNiCo versions there is variance and then there is also polarity and orientation of magnets, pole piece material, windings, how it’s wound etc. which will give Variance
  5. As the good man says above. Stock pick ups found on a Sandy- Delano’s, Sandberg, Sandberg Black labels, Haussel all very good but different before you do which strings either flats or rounds. Everyone’s precision tone preference differs slightly, but it will be there.
  6. Well it’s reverse config, depends which P pick up you have in there, but defo in the ball park
  7. It’s just not worth it in the big picture - you can ‘hold’ the booking if you wish in the future but it should be in the expectation that it will be cancelled. More measures have been announced to try to help businesses just tonight. There is some panic, but there is a load of common sense as well. It should be taken seriously
  8. Sounds great 🤘🏾💪🏾👊🏾
  9. He had just come back from work experience at Enfield and Warwick
  10. Cheers pal - got one off a lovely chap on here, thanks for looking out for me. Now for a Source Audio Neuro/Soundblox hub
  11. Hyperluminal is a very good compressor, and without doubt the BUS compressor is the jewel in the crown - get it hooked up to the PC and tinker further and you will have a very good tight sound waiting for you
  12. Hartke LH1000 is a good honest head as is the Peavey Mini Mega Hartke Hydrive cabs are limited - better options out there within your budget
  13. All the pick ups are, are magnets that create a field for picking up strong vibrations. Right over the field, stronger, slightly off the field. Weaker. Possibly less important with fat pole pieces, if it’s 2 per string, well so long as all strings are dead on or dead off it doesn’t matter, you can equalise loudness of the note with location, height, technique etc. Blades as mentioned, not an issue so far as narrowing the spacing, it really is not an issue. I modded a Jazz bass to have Rickenbacker pick ups instead. The normal Rick neck pick up is slightly smaller as it is normally closer to the neck heel, and I have moved it backwards so the E and G strings were just outside. schaller 3D bridge brought them all into the field. Ultimately you’ll do what’s right, but there are many ways to skin a cat, but doing it yourself gives a very customised bass which is sometimes more satisfying
  14. Until you pop in passing my hoose get a play on a Tech21 dUg Ultrabass - made for Status...
  15. These are lovely lovely basses to play. Pre-amp aside it’s about the closest you will get in feel your the famous Entwistle Buzzard bass before Warwick royally messed that up. GLwTs
