Melissa Auf De'Maur - Pumpkins ended when she was in the band (No connection just no band for a while) she did a solo project after that and has just released a new cd so think she prefers being her own boss instead of stage candy. Another looker with a p bass Ginger left to have a family and settle down or something along those lines. FYI the current pumpkins drummer was gained from an open audition and was 19 or so at the time and worked in MacDonalds so it happens but Pumpkins were always going to have a female bassist.

Sold Marco a 75 Epiphone, couldn't have gone more smoothly, he didn't even moan or contact me when I took a week to post the bass, so gets a super thumbs up from me. Buy with confidence.

They are very cool instruments because when playing them like a bass they don't sound nearly as thin as you think they would, roll the tone off and you can get a nice big thumpy sound but then you can still strum a chord and having a bigsby on a bass is very very cool. I was eyeing up the Dano's and the OLP, the Dano you can actually get for around 180 or so ebay I recall. I decided on the Gretsch because it just looked cooler and had what I consider a proper trem capable of handling the bass strings. Olp was nice but the pickup routes are quite messy and overall it feels a bit cheap.
