1. If they do the original body shape I'll be all over one as a backup, else. Meh
2. or 450 in a world where people can do maths
3. Bump, perfect for anyone in a Dave Gilmour tribute
4. Man all those prices are insanely cheap like insane. The Boomstick Bottom Feeder is my favourite filter, it's been replaced by the Mojo Hand 442 red but they are the same pedal just different cosmetics. 5. Yeah me and Joe can have a volume war though he'll win now I only have 1 strategy I'll let you know Joe if I don't use it
6. Mine was a joke about the 2 HBP-1's you seem to be selling
7. OBBM all the way I just replaced allmy George L's with them
8.
A very underrated or unknown company is ElectroniX Just wish they had made more of an effort with the sound clips Really impressed with what I heard tho sound wise.
I heard they have stopped building pedals
9.
Bassdirect has a sunburst one in for £2299. I sent a couple of hours playing a white one through my Boogie a couple of months back and couldn't believe how good it was. It's easily one of the best instruments I've played and definitely the best bolt-on bass. Better (for me) than any Sadowsky, Nordy or US Lakland I've tried.
Yeah no they are very good for sure, I think what did it for me was the neck I'd have prefered a heavy gloss on the back to go with the vibe I got from the rest of the instrument, but you know at this much money you have to get awful picky
10. Forgot to say I have the original tuner if you want to remove the Hipshot they are direct replacements for each other so no marks or screw holes will be exposed.
11.
The bridge, the stringing system, the pickups, the tuners, the woods, the inlays, the construction, the frets, the electrical components, the body shape (loads of difference - really), the ageing process, the vibration treatment, the nut, the fact that it's handmade in a small workshop in Japan in very small numbers, pretty much everything, really.
How much did you end up paying in the end, I tried one at Bassday in the morning before the slap fest started and it was nice but not the price tag nice. Defo better than a US fender
12.
It's a Thunder 1A, active, needing 2 x 9v batteries which may well need replacing. Use decent alkaline's and remember to switch out the active circuit when not needed (lower of the two switches) and they last for ages. Check out this web page (and the rest of the website) for much more info: http://www.westone.info/manual1/index.html
So am I right in thinking there is no mute switch and that would be that the preamp needs new batteries?
13.

I got this the other day, can anyone help me with the controls, one of the switches is working like a killswitch, I think I found the bass knob but it's all quite subtle, maybe the batteries need changing. Cheers

Yeah I'll get the code tomorrow from Tone Factor and send it to the people that have asked. Cheers
15. Hey no ones selling a Burbury Jazz Great collection I do really like that MIM P Bass the honey blonde one
16. Yeah think of it as if they made a RI in Mexico which I know now they do but this was basically a 62RI for 2/3's the price of a US one. So from what I understand it has the US 60's Custom Shop pickups in it, vintage frets, different neck profile, vintage reverse tuners that I've added a hipshot de-tuner to again reverse, the neck is also lacquered like a vintage jazz was. As stated I rate this with US RI's it's easily better than any normal US Jazz I've played and this is still alot cheaper than the price I paid new not including the mods and the recent setup it had.

SFT will be better than the Sparkle Drive (a Tube Screamer with a blend) especially if you're using it as an amp sim or hair sim Personally the SFT is the most tube amp like pedal around, I used one in the studio for my dirty tone and it so responsive, it might take a little getting use to depending on your technique but you need to treat it like the bassists in the 70's treated their tube amps. The SFT can be 100% clean with the gain rolled off and still has plenty of volume on tap so you can just use it as a 2 band eq with that ampegy sound. Like I say just bare in mind it's design is to be as amp like as possible even down the eq so if you want to increase bass but it's getting muddy cranking the bass knob, reduce the treble all the controls are very interactive. Hope this helps I can also give you a list of other hair sounding pedals that are better than the Sparkle Drive
