1. Fireglo. Good news about Rick he was a super nice guy, I was 15 when I/My Dad bought the Ric and most shops wouldn't let someone like me try it.
2. My guitarist just got one of these, they are very good preamps fullstop let alone for the money, bargain to be had, if I didn't already have like 6 preamps I'd be all over this. Good luck with the sale
3. Quite possibly I got it from Rick who later went on to the Manchester store, same place I bought my Ric 4003 from
4. Dawsons Stockport 8 years ago you know when they actually sold decent instruments
5. Bought this in 2002 pretty much the best fender I've played easily spanked the 75RI that was sat next to it in the shop. It's been modded with a Badass II bridge, Hipshot De-tuner and rewired with American pots so it's volume, reverse blend (ala Sadowsky) and tone, then some nice chrome knobs on it as well. Currently strung with Overwater flats, this is a really beautiful vintage sounding bass, I believe the pickups are the 60's custom shop one that come stock in these basses. The bass is mint condition except for one dent on the back and it's not really a dent as in it's not an indentation just a mark SOLD PENDING PAYMENT
6.
Like this you mean..........................
Shush you
7. Been thinking about this and it just never gets used, it's a backup to my main Overwater bass and while there is nothing wrong with it, in fact it's a beautiful bass it just seems like to much money to be sat around not being used. I apologise for the nudity in the pics it's all I could find of the bass So basically it's a 35inch 5 String Overwater with bolt on neck. It's a maple body covered in a trans purple that most of the time looks black until stage lights hit it. It really is a stunning bass. Recently set up with a medium low action. The low b on this bass is amazing I've been using it for the past 3 years or so with a low A. I don't have an exact weight but it's quite light for an Overwater [s]£950[/s] £850 Cheers
8. Hopefully this clears it up a bit
OK had a chat to radio Ham mate of mine and he says this frequency used to be reserved for the first gen of analogue mobile phones and it was freed up a few years ago for millitary telecoms and also LMS (location monitoring systems) that they use for security vans and the like. He also said the only places you were likely to encounter problems were if you were playing on or very close to an active millitary base or in very close proximity to a base station for someone like securicor or group 4. He also said it is very much line of sight and it would be extremely unlikely for anything to interupt your signal. And also you may have problems if anyone is using unlicenced radios in the "900" band but he will listen to the frequencies for us and see how busy it is, he did say these sets were pretty rare over here and also fairly low powered... usually less than 4W His overall opinion is that you would be as safe as houses to use this frequency band as the sets will be very narrow bandwidth and quite accurate and a lot of the equipment that also uses this band has the ability to shift frequencies if it detects too much RFI. I am happy to trust this guy as I know his abilities with TX/RX radios (he builds them) so its a go'er from me Cheers mate Glyn
Now this references interference more than anything but I have 2 of these and have done loads of gigs in the past year with them and never had an issue. It does fall down to who would ever know? If someone did know how do they know it's you. Bare in mind all the allowed frequencies that most wireless's work on are going to moved over for other things. These are unused frequencies for the vast majority of the time. As stated it's line of sight mainly and very unlikely for anyone to interrupt your signal that works both ways and it's very unlikely to interupt anyone elses signal. Personally I bought the best wireless on the market (under 1k) and when I go to America I don't have to get another wireless just to use there. Hope this helps
9. Doesn't matter they are shifting quickly on ebay, 2 left on ebay.

13. The middle one might best I can try is with my 36inch scale Overwater that is a hybrid jazz/thunderbird shape
14. Not all that heavy I want to say somewhere between 20-30kgs
15. Having had both I greatly prefer the SFT, I found the BB to be nice at low gain but that was it, sorta got fizzy at high gain sounds. I replaced my BB with a Tone Factor Cream Pie which then I sold (actually got rid of 3 of them) when I got the SFT. If you want to buy from the US I can get you a 10% off voucher for Tone Factor
16. Actually scrap that I need the money sorry
17. Bump offers? But please bare in mind these cost over £5 to post even when just shoved in a bin bag. Cheers
18. Try Higgie he is after a trade for his DB112's
19. Good, I tried this stack once (use to own 2 cxl112's) and they are stunning and you were just giving them away
