My current favourite boost and the only reason it's going is so I can buy the big brother too it the Catalinbread Chilli Boost Mint condition, with box and conspiracy shielding. velcro on the bottom. Now discontinued regardless of what other sites say http://www.catalinbread.com/SerranoPicoso.html This box just adds a little bit of magic to your signal can't really be described but just sounds better, can be a great buffer if left on at unity volume all the time. Looking for £65 ono

Ok so I’ve got about 3 weeks before my band heads out on tour and I’ve been really struggling to get together what I’ve wanted. Basically the band runs a click track for the drummer and to keep the set flowing and to avoid awkward stops its one long 30 minute track, the clicks stop and there is a gap then start again. In the gaps we are putting music, mainly ambience just to make it more of a show. Ok so all of this is easy just pan each one right and left blah blah blah, well we’ve got this part down to a science where it gets harder is I wanted to run 2 midi tracks at the same time, one sending program changes to an Alesis Midiverb and therefore processing the singers vocals differently and another being converted into DMX commands so that we can program out lights. Well this means I have to use a laptop and I’ve tried a few older ones we’ve had handy running audacity (most basic stable program I could find) and I just can’t run a 30min wav click track in it without it stuttering and then throwing everything else out of time. So I’m wondering if there is something like a programmable midi sequencer that could be programmed to trigger say a drum machine for the click and samples for the backing tracks and chuck out the program changes for the vocal fx and lights. Basically any other ideas on how to get this all working would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Recently re-aquired this from Monz so before I plug it in and fall in love with it all over again I'm going to try and sell it to put towards my Avalon U5. Here is some info and soundclips on it The Pulp Mill is fairly rare I think there are 25-50 in existance and this is 1 of a kind, I bought this and had it sent to Bongomania (Talkbass) to add to his list of ever growing compressor reviews, he reviewed it in it's unmodded state and then set about improving it. This is based on the old Orange Squeezer compressor and then modded to be much better on bass, this was my favourite compressor for years a great way to get an instant 2nd tone be it just emphasises you natural tone more, if you are playing a p-bass with flats it will add thump, playing a jazz with rounds it will add punch and definition. Here are some soundclips Rounds - http://www.grygrx.net/Pedal%20Reviews/Tone...ve%20Rounds.mp3 Flats - http://www.grygrx.net/Pedal%20Reviews/Tone...ive%20Flats.mp3 And a picture http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?act=attach...st&id=41247 SOLD

Great little headphone amp that I no longer need as I've got so much other crap Here is the manual http://www.korg.com/uploads/Support/PX3B_E...38277920000.pdf Looking for £35 for this even comes with a nice cute case logic case My favourite thing about this one over the other PX units is it takes 9v boss standard so you don't have to faff around with batteries or trying to find some 5.5v adaptor that the others use. Mint condition full working order etc etc Cheers

So in readiness for my Avalon U5 coming I'm getting rid of this Peavey Equalized Direct Box http://www.peavey.com/assets/literature/manuals/edi.pdf Basically you place this between your amp head and the speaker cab and it DI's the signal. You still get the sound out of your cab but if you have a tube amp you get a far more realistc tube sound out of it as it's not just a tap on the preamp section. Great for vintage amps that don't have a di Picture here http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?act=attach...st&id=32908 Looking for £25 Cheers

Cool I might have a lead on some from a soundman friend of mine but he's very flakey so if he doesn't turn up I'll be speaking to them.

So as I accumulate these when I buy funky vintage basses decided I need to have a clearout. I'll snap some pictures to night but basically after £10 per case collection only (I am willing to ship but you pay actual shipping costs and I just don't forsee it being worthwhile) I'm based in Stockport just outside Manchester 1. Fender Black Deluxe Bass Bag (or so I believe) fairly well padded missing backpack straps SOLD 2. Unknown Music Shop looking brand, fairly well padded all straps included 3. Gigbag that came with one of the many Dearmond Starfires, fits all sorts of basses inc my Overwater Evolution 5 (35inch scale) has a few iffy zips but works for the most part. I'm going to hold out for a Starfire owner to sell this one too as I think it's only fair as they are so hard to find. All are actually quite nice cases that I would expect people to pay £20-£40 in shops for but I have an Incase Dubag and Harvest Overwater case and just picked up Levy's case so I'm sorted. Cheers
