1. It is on the latest firmware with all the new fx, unless they've released one I'm not aware of. Loop functions are the same except you can access 4 fx while looping, all the reverse, undo, overdub, and pre and post fx buttons are there as single stomps, this is what I mean by saying more immediately at your feet the M9 can do all these things but sometimes you have to bend down to do it. I already have an M9 and I just like the size and functionallity of it, I don't use many fx these days and I'd like to get my main board back down to a pt jr or pt mini as this is currently on a PT 2 HC. Also the functionallity of 2 M9's exceeds that of a single M13 with out being excessively sized. I have other stuff we can deal on such as a gator bag for the M13 or the PT2 if you have a PT JR or PT Mini etc.
2. 4 fx at a time over 3, much more immediate control at your feet, fx loop that also allows for a certain amount of biamping and having certain fx on certain channels, tells you the fx that on in each channel. See everytime I write that out I think WTF are you doing.
3. Yeah I am, maybe I wasn't clear though it wouldn't be a straight swap, but there wouldn't be much difference between them.
4. Unless you want to swap for an M13 and I'm in Edinburgh this weekend
5. But I sent the money already via paypal, don't make me put a claim in
6. GAH WANT!!! But it's 80's so I offer 10p because it has been tainted from the hairspray
7. Defo looking to downgrade to a decent 2 channel USB audio interface. Not really fussed about input more outputs
8. Can you get a price for postage for me, I think my headcased Mesa 400+ will fit in this nicely
9. Great guy, so good I was gonna vote twice but it wouldn't let me and I've already done it Yeah can't go wrong one bit.
10. Mint condition, barely used since I got it I don't see myself using it much in the future so might as well get rid. Comes with both, drive cd, 4 pin to 6 pin firewire cables and mains adaptor. I will go out and buy a 6 pin to 6 pin if required. Sample rates: from 32kHz to 96kHz, plus 192kHz playback only to output channels 1/2 and headphones. Analogue inputs: two, balanced XLR with switchable global +48V phantom power, or unbalanced TS quarter-inch jack instrument, both using mic preamp with up to 66dB gain plus optional 20dB pad, or unbalanced line-level TS jack at fixed -10dBV sensitivity. Analogue outputs: eight unbalanced TS quarter-inch jacks at -10dBV level (can directly drive up to 7.1 surround), two headphone outputs with individual level controls. Digital I/O: S/PDIF in and out on phono co-axial and Toslink optical supporting AC3 and DTS formats. MIDI: In and Out. Connection to computer: two six-pin Firewire ports. Frequency response: 20Hz to 40kHz, +0/-1dB. Signal-to-noise ratio: -104dB Dynamic range: 108dBA THD + noise: 0.00281% at 0dBFS. Dimensions: 9.25 x 7 x 1.9 inches. Weight: 2.95lbs. You can read more about it here http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/mar04/articles/maudio410.htm £100 Will take a part ex on a 2 channel basic USB audio interface. Cheers
11. Yeah I mean you'll never like every fx that something with over 100 fx has in it but it doesn't matter you only have to like the ones that get you your sounds and I have all mine covered and I've had some hefty pedalboards in the past.
12. Well I have an M9 and M13, the M13 has alot more functionality available at your feet, the question is do you need to run 3 or 4 fx at a time. I would not recommend any other multi on the market at this current time.
13. This is going on Ebay tonight. Open to offers around the £110-£130 mark
14. The M9 easily covers the fx you have and I wouldn't bother with the Bass Big Muff as there is nothing weak about the drives on the M9. I personally would always recommend the Catalinbread SFT over the Bass VT as that's what I use with my M9 and it's awesome. Also the M9 is much better the the XT live mainly because you have more fx and they are better but most importantly you can decide fx chain order.
15. It will if you take the feet off but I would only ever put it in something that was shock mounted in lots of wood, metal and foam
16. Yeah of course, well if you want to meet up at all, even further down the line (I still need to try the ACG preamp) then we can have a bit of a mess around then. I would be fine with the M13/gator for the M9/woodstock assuming I'm happy with the woodstock
17. I'm not sure mate I was ideally hoping to get some money, I suppose that can be achieved by selling the PT2 But there is quite a loss in immediate functionality especially on the looper side when going from an M13 to an M9 Do you have a picture of your M9 on this board? Cheers
