1. I had an ABM8x10 and it's as good as an Ampeg 8x10 but seriously get a Matamp one those are the best 8x10's on the planet and they come in custom colours
2. I have an Xotic X-Blender that has the 2 band eq of the RC Boost built into it, I'd part ex for the EB Volume Pedal and money from you, if you are interested. Also is the EB Jr the 25k or 250k version? Cheers
3. I have some spare matched EHX tube taken from my 400+ months ago I could get some out tomorrow if you are really in need
4. Sounds like a valve has gone to me
5. I tried a similar bass to this over the weekend at Jack's, if I hadn't lost my job I'd be all over it.
6. Shall I call dibs for the 3rd time
7. Nick's computer has broken so if anybody is interested just PM me and I'll send you his number. Cheers
8. Will I be able to try the jazz out on Saturday?
9.
but why isn't the X2 legal here?
I heard it's on our emergency frequency for radios in ambulances and such. I use mine all over the country and it's fine.
10.
Sorry to hear that Nick I do have to say that if you're only keeping one bass then making it a Spector is the way to go
Pfft he's holding on to 3 basses with his Spectors

12. But looping is not the sort of thing where you can just go yeah I'll have a bash at that can take a lot of practice. But Higgie is selling his Headrush E2 which will provide you with some pretty simple stuff if you want to do a 4 chord progression and noodle over it.
13.
Some fuzzes don't like it I guess, but it shouldn't cause any damage. For example, I think the Wooly Mammoth doesn't really work at all with my 442 filter before it, probably due to input/output impedances.
Fuzz into filter man should be a law
14. should be under www.youtube.com/tonefactor and search bass or prometheus
15. I'll post it when I get home. Personally I love the new paint job Be aware people there are 5 pedals I'm keeping out of about 50 this is one of them, nothing is as good as this filter NOTHING
16. Perfect chance for someone to own my Hellbaby and your Hellbilly
17.
ah crap i thought i mentioned it. I live in north west london. ive never shipped outside UK before, how do i go about doing it lol?
International really you want the bass in a hardcase and then in a box full of padding. But go to a music shop and see if they'll give you a cardboard box a bass was shipped in (beware these are like finding the holy grail), pack it all up nice and secure and then parcelforce do reasonable international rates.
18. The noisebox is so good I own 2 and its the only pedal not going anywhere in my shift to the digital world.
19.
And would you?
I would
20. Surely just a Y cable will do output of Brown dog into ev and the input? For the money couldn't you have got the OS?
21. I'd mic it, soundguy can want what he wants but end of the day it's your sound. I'd personally use the SM57 and a Kick Drum Mic, I've had amazing results with a Stagg Kick Drum mic I was very very shocked If he can mic 8 guitar speakers a night he can mic 1 bass one Just make it easier for him, turn up with your own mic and stand and just unplug his xlr from the DI and plug it into your mic/s
22. I'll keep it I think I have another drummer coming down. Worst case we can just try gear out
