1. Oh and I've always wanted to try a Burns
2.
You have a PM.
Replied
3. I don't know why any of your are asking when Gremlinandy sends a PM that means it's bought
4. I'd really like to try the 12 or 8 string, I've got a Ric I can bring mine out if that means people get a wider choice of what to mess around with. PM coming with the details. Cheers
5.
Everytime you do this I'm away! Flying back from Cairo on this day Tony
You need to stop doing the "Tony International Brothel Tours" then don't you
6.
I read that as: "My drummer will be attending this as well for fun bass and drum jokes" Sounds cruel
Well you can try but he doesn't speak human

8. I don't make a big deal out of these, just fancy meeting a few players, jamming etc. I've got this set for Sunday 21st June at 1pm till whenever (it's my room we'll leave when we want), at my practice room in Stockport, I'll PM contact details to anyone that fancies coming down. Feel free to bring what you want, I'll have the following with me (To avoid duplicates) Overwater Custom Progress 5 String Hofner 185/E2 Dearmond Starfire Modded with Darkstars Valenti No3 Jazz Bass Mesa Boogie 400+ Mesa Boogie Strategy 400 Simms-Watt PA100 MK1 Dynacord MV15 Matamp 8x10 Matamp 4x10 Misc Subdecay, Catalinbread and Mojohand pedals. My drummer will be attending this as well for fun bass and drum jams. Cheers
9. All sounds good, if you ever want to meet up I can give you a lot of advice for live playing, I'm planning a little basschat gathering in Stockport in the next few weeks, where no doubt Monz will be. If these are classic motown songs then I'd get the set list and go search the net for chords and tabs to save time and sit down and find a happy medium in your ability of what you want to play and what you don't feel comfortable with yet. Interms of gear you just need to put flats on the basses you're using, you can then get away with 1 bass as I've never seen anyone EVER break a flatwound string
10. Thought I had sold this on Friday but apparently not. So here it is, a stunning tube preamp capable of warming up the most sterile of rigs I suppose there isn't much to say as those that will want this already know about it. It's in great condition, bit of velcro underneath it someone must have used to stop it sliding off something but other than that it's mint. Comes with box and box candy Yours for a pitiful £260
11. You should just buy my PT jr and have 2 boards It's not excessive in the least
12. Best place to start really is the Talkbass Wiki there are hundreds of distortion sound samples in there.
13.
The ae is a lot lighter to be fair. Personally I wouldnt enjoy moving an hs around on my own, the ae is manageable for me though. They are otherwise very similar, and it should be noted that they are very very small for a 410, but just dont sound it at all!
I can lift the HS around no problem, you want a heavy 4x10 you try my Matamp
14. It won't replace my OIL board, might use it in addition to it maybe but it's more going to be the other things boards. But we'll see
15. I'd like one of the MIDI leads 3m. Standard type with moulded connectors. Let me know how much with postage. Cheers
16. I'm selling mine in the Misc for Sale Forum. Never had a problem with the velcro coming off and I've owned PT 1, 2 x PT Pro's, 2 x PT Mini's, 2x PT Jr's. The only pedals I';ve ever had a problem with were Digitech single stomps they have this rubber pad on the bottom and velcro just won't stick to it, you can of course peal it off though They are by far the best pedalboards available today. Even though I'm selling mine 'll still have a hardcase Pt Jr and a Pt Mini knocking about
17.
whats the hyperpak like as just a volume boost?
It can do that, It can get completely clean and I think it's got about 15db of gain/boost
18.
Check out the For Sale section here on Basschat. Where (by an amazing co-incidence) you'll find my BOSS ODB-1 pedal ...
and a crap load of my effects as well
