But looping is not the sort of thing where you can just go yeah I'll have a bash at that can take a lot of practice. But Higgie is selling his Headrush E2 which will provide you with some pretty simple stuff if you want to do a 4 chord progression and noodle over it.

But go to a music shop and see if they'll give you a cardboard box a bass was shipped in (beware these are like finding the holy grail), pack it all up nice and secure and then parcelforce do reasonable international rates.

I'd mic it, soundguy can want what he wants but end of the day it's your sound. I'd personally use the SM57 and a Kick Drum Mic, I've had amazing results with a Stagg Kick Drum mic I was very very shocked If he can mic 8 guitar speakers a night he can mic 1 bass one Just make it easier for him, turn up with your own mic and stand and just unplug his xlr from the DI and plug it into your mic/s

Just testing the water with this one. It's in mint condition with box and instructions. Velcro on the bottom. I'm after £190ono This unit really is the best blender out there. it has the 2 band eq of the RC Bass Boost so can be used as a 2 band eq, boost, treble boost, bass boost and then blender Cheers

It's easier to move than the 4x10, can get it in most cars with the seats folded flat. But if size is an issue the 4x10 is just as loud and big sounding, but because it's ported if you're on a big stage like a festival with nothing around it, it can sound weaker, this isn't an issue for many people though 8x10 is consistently awesome 4x10 is awesome 99.9% of the time
