1. I've considered it, you'll find my response on your doorstep on fire
2. Now don't let your head explode http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=434739
3. He uses a Looperlative now which replaced 3 of his Echoplex's
4.
Tayste had a bunch of settings that he posted in a Talkbass thread. One thing I like to do is set the tap tempo on beats 1 and 4 of what you're playing which creates a nice rythm effect. Also I like to create a loop of a droned fuzz tone and then pitch shift it to play it like a synth!
+1 find that thread and you'll be sorted
5. Basically every pedal looper is flawed in some way and I mean a major way but if you go the software and VST route you need some serious power there if you go as advanced as Steve Lawson goes with his. If you return the DL-4 try and see if the shop has a Electro Harmonix Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai it's my current looper of choice.
6. Well Tone Factor have them in for $600 and are more than happy to ship to the UK so even with the import duty it's cheaper than buying in a shop here and there are ways around that import duty
7. Very interested PM with the price you are after if you are willing to post it. Cheers
8.
What do you think of it mr pablo? I want one to see what all the fuss is about do you think it is as good as TB crew claim?
It's a Red Llama clone it should sound similar if not exactly the same as your Tone Factor Mule
9. Glad you had a good time, I plan on doing it again at some point hopefully more people will turn up next time.
10. I'm going out in 2 hours so last chance to pm and get the address guys
11. No worries I think I want to keep it anyways
12. Ever had a moment when you feel like a real tit well this is one for me. I always wanted a Radial JDI as it's just the shizniz for passive DI's and it allows you to plug tube amps into it and di from that signal. So I bought a Duplex figuring great 2 JDI's in one box which it is except it lacks this speaker button, so yes I'm an idiot but my stupidity is your gain JDI Duplex Mk4 stereo direct box Stereo direct box for high-output digital sources Jensen transformers for warm Bessel curve Virtually zero distortion from 10Hz to 80kHz Stereo-to-mono merge (Y-mix) on each channel Built tough to handle the extremes The Radial JDI Duplex Mk4 is a full-featured passive DI designed to enhance connectivity for the touring professional and AV integrator. The Duplex comes equipped with 1/4" connectors for -10dB consumer electronics and XLR inputs for +4dB professional line sources. Each Duplex channel employs the same high-performance Jensen audio transformer as the industry standard Radial JDI direct box and has the same pristine audio signal path with virtually zero phase, harmonic and linear distortion. Natural transformer saturation and warm Bessel curve makes the Radial Duplex the perfect choice for rounding out highly dynamic instruments, like digital keyboards, that can sound harsh when driven hard. Transformer isolation also provides the benefit of eliminating troublesome ground loops that can cause hum and buzz and can interfere with video displays. Radial's innovative 'book-end'™ design provides protective zones that shield connectors and switches from the abuses of professional touring . A welded I-beam inner frame is designed to eliminate outside stresses that could torque the PC board and cause premature solder point and trace failure. A 14-gauge steel shell couples with the mu-metal transformer shield to eliminate stray magnetic field interference from power transformers and a full-bottom no-slip pad provides plenty of stay-put and helps reduce electrical coupling from amplifier chassis hardware. The Radial Duplex Mk4 is the worlds finest passive stereo direct box. The unit is brand new I've not even plugged into it since the main reason I wanted it was for the speaker thing. I'm after £250 for it, as stated brand new with box, stickers and manual. If no one shows any interest in the next few days I'll probably keep it as it's still the best normal DI you can buy.
13.
Stone the crows Steve, I'm scared just looking at it. Is that your rig, or borrowed?
That's my rig, come to the fx jam on Saturday and you'll hear it
14. Bump people, PM if you need address details
15. I'd like to add that while 10 were made one was mine and the postie nicked it so there are only 9 in circulation or there better had only be 9 in circulation
16. It's about a 30minute walk from Stockport Train Station but I'm sure a few BC'ers can arrange to meet there and come together maybe grab a cab which will take 5 minutes if that
