1. Its different to the BSW as its all analog so it has the more filter fuzz sound to it I've always considered it to be the poor mans prunes and custard. So there is nop tracking with analog its triggering so if you play consistently your sound out of the pedal will be consistant inregards to a constant wah'ing For synth and less than £100 you'd be better off getting a Subdecay Noisebox from America much better and much more unique, or if you want something more dubby and octave down sounding the Sinister Analog Soul Provider But really the SB7 and BSW are so different you could easily have both on a board. BSW is one of the best octavers in the world as well incase you want to kill 2 birds with one stone.
  2.
I believe its being substituted for a newer model with a different model name. fm4? something like that anyway
But that's just a looper I believe
  3.
Hmm, I'd still appreciate it... So if you hold the bag, you don't get knobs poking the front of it risking being hit sideways by the edge of a door or something?
Pretty much, I've toured with mine but I still ended up getting a hardcase as they are always better for heavy gigging I'll take a pic when I get in
  4. I've not heard any lies like this, it's there biggest selling pedal so I highl;y doubt it
  5. I've had both and still have the new one, it is no more padded really but it does have semi rigid plastic plates inside it that keep stuff safe, I can post a picture tonight but I don't see the point
  6. V-bass isn't a proper effect so you can't come

    Pedaltrains?
The medium sized Spider case is PERFECT for a Pedaltrain Jr if you buy the one with the soft case and later decide you need a bit more protection. You have a bit of room left down the side big enough to squeeze a volume/expression pedal or a power strip and cables, but the PT sits in there so snug it won't move from side to side. I went from the Spider to the Pedaltrain, and have the Spider up for sale... but I think I'm gonna hang onto it for a while in case I need to take my pedaltrain to dodgy dives where people trample all over your gear!
OOOOO I'll be getting one of these when I break my current pedalboard flight case That gap at the side I can install a patch bay like on my current custom models.

    Pedaltrains?
Anybody got a preference for Pedaltrain vs Tone Trunk Pro's and con's for Pedaltrain/Tone Trunk vs Diago Like the look of the Diago power supply cos I can power the Samson Airline receiver with a battery clip instead of 12V DC (probably why it gobbles batteries )
From what I hear the tone trunk is very flimsy. I only use pedaltrains now it's such a pain in the arse setting anything up that doesn't have slats.
  9. A northern effects gathering/jam I can arrange it all I have my own practice room so no one would need to pay for anything. This is similar to what I do for my birthday jams. So if anyone is interested pop your name down and we'll start knocking around dates but I am thinking in the next 2-3 weeks. BTW I'm in Stockport just outside Manchester so all are welcome. Date now set 11th October Hope to see you there. Details to follow closer to the time.
  10.
Every time tayste posts his board I have to walk around at work the whole day with an erection. I should just steer clear of this thread!
You can stay away from me as well with that thing poking out
  11.
I think it would cost you less than £50 to have the DI in your Hartke fixed.
Amp DI wouldn't be my first choice for use in a studio
  12.
great tuner, crap DI...fair enough I've checked out the Radial Pro, I've managed to find one for about £75 delivered which is manageable. Will this be ok to go after my amp? I've got very little experience with DI boxes, as my amp's DI's usually done the business! Cheers for the help lads!
Yeah u could use it in the fx loop to get a post eq signal just don't plug a speaker cable into it you'd need something else to be doing and sending wattage through it.
  13. The strobe o stomp is a crap di, it's a if all else fails di, see if you can get a Radial Prodi s/h from America.
  14. Now on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=300255638144
  15.
Just out of interest, what does this do that the XT Live doesn't?
It breaks when you stand on it
  16.
Nah I tried that, was a no go... I can't remember what it was that I tried though!
Left into input, right into fx return or vice versa
  17.
Hi Dood, I think I knew that at some level but deep down I wanted to eliminate anything I could from my setup - the V now does everything the pod did you see. How do you do the stereo force, out of interest?
The same way I told you to yesterday fool
  18.
And whereabouts in the UK, would you be for pick-up, if we could agree a price? I'm gonna offer £65 for a cash in the hand exchange... (As long as you're not too far away) That rust doesn't phase me!
I'm in Manchester and for cash in hand I'd do it for that avoiding being ass raped by paypal
  19.
You got that VA 350 from Chester, didn't you?
Nope, you'll hear it from a far when I plug it in
  20. I'm going to be doing an amp trade in the next 2 weeks or so and could do with somewhere inbetween me and the other basschatter as he's in Scotland and I'm in Manchester, he says he can come as far as about Preston so if one of you lovely fellows would be interested in letting us use your house or practice room so that we can crank these babies up, all I can offer you in return is a good laugh and a chance to play on any of my many bass toys Let me know guys if your up for an afternoon as bass fun
