Right so the story goes I have 2 of these and one of them is for sale but both are available so which ever sells first, I'm keeping the other. So I have one in red and one in black and I will explain about each below. Black - This one I bought recently here and there is a problem with the pickups, when I got it the pickups were wired out of phase so I've had that fixed but they are very low output around 3kohms each which end up shunting each other down to about 1.5kohms which is much lower than the standard 5-15kohms most pickups are. It also has 2 holes drilled for what was originally coil splitters and series/parallel, so these holes I have put switches in that don't do anything to improve the asthetic. Soundwise acoustically this is the better of the 2 basses but it doesn't sound that great plugged in if this is the bass that doesn't sell I'm going to slap darkstars in so I recommend if you want to buy this, get this over the red one as it's in better physical condition and once you put the darkstars in it should kick some serious arse. Bare in mind Darkstars are a direct replacement pickup so no routing to be done just some holes to be drilled which are always covered by the pickup surrounds regardless of which pickup you have in it - Sold Pending Payment Red - This bass sounds fantastic and to me has more mojo than the black one, it just feels a bit nicer to play but that could be because this is strung with Overwater flats and the other just has bog standard rounds on. It has a few dings here and there but very minor and small but it looks a bit dirtier than the black one and the rear pick up is missing a bit of the gold foil but this is the real player bass where as the black one is the display piece. - Withdrawn due to sale of other bass Both come fitted with schaller straplocks and will include a fender softcase that fits them perfectly, I will also offer you a choice of strings you can have the old rounds or the flats on which ever you get, I highly recommend coming round to try them and you've not lived till you've played a short scale hollowbody which is closer to the original Guild Starfire than the Guild RI was, so it's you choice - Display piece?, Darkstar project? Funky little hollowbody. I'll get pictures up tonight I forgot to charge the batteries last night. Cheers

I've got a mint condition Analogman Mini Chorus clone with box and all the extra bits. I am the original owner though it has been round the block but as I said it's still in mint condition thought the velcro on the bottom is a bit messily attached. You can see the pedal here. http://i32.tinypic.com/33aujpe.jpg You can hear it here. http://www.grygrx.net/Pedal%20Reviews/Anal...%20-%20Deep.mp3 I want £110 for this pedal and if no interest here it's going on ebay tomorrow. Cheers

This is an awesome bass and pretty much my entire album is recorded with this, but things have changed I'm not really playing 5 strings and to be honest I want another Overwater custom bass in more "Out There" shape. This bass just kicks the crap out of the Sadowsky's I've tried and if you didn't know Nino Valenti use to work for Sadowsky he has since left as there is so much demand for his basses he can afford to just be a bass builder. Here are the specs Alder P style Body Pau Ferro Fretboard Sherwood Green Finish w/Matching H/S Nordstrand Dual Coil pickups 24 Frets Black Hardware HipShot B style bridge UltraLite tuning gears Humbucker/Single coil mode for each pickup Tortoise P/G Aguilar OBP-1 Contoured heel for easier access to the upper frets Schaller Straplocks Here are the pics It's in as excellent condition as the day I received it. Trying it out is recommended, this bass is stunning I'd like £850 for am open to offers but no trades at the moment Having a bit of a clear out so have a look what else is going. Cheers
Well I'm rejigging my pedalboard at the moment. I've always had my octave after my distortion just because I never really experimented with it, and it makes such a difference running the octave first o_O Synth-tastic. Anyway, quite a few little neat fixes and stuff (for me) going on, so I'm taking my time doing it all up, and I'm still missing a few pedals. Howeverrrr... I'm looking at getting a VFB-X or a modded VFB-jr (pedalboard space is at a premium, especially if I'm adding an expression pedal to control the blend) from Barge Concepts so I can use my Catalinbread Hyperpak for anything from full on distortion to a bit of grit. Anyone had any experience with doing that with the expression pedal? And are there any expression pedals I can set to have a minimum value so that the off/down position isn't fully dry signal? I'll probably shoot Barge Concepts themselves the same question. I have an ODB-3, but I don't really get along with it to be honest, even at some very low gain, mostly dry settings. If I can find a better solution, I will! When I've finished it, I'll take a photo. Its nothing to rival Tayste's new board, but I like it If anyone has any George L's jacks they're selling, I'd be happy to take them off your hands And another daisychain probably wouldn't go amiss!
I've got some straight george l jacks you can have 6 for £5 shipped.

Does it work like that? I know it's a stupid question

Would it be possible to use something Like a butt kicker with a tube amp for silent recording? Use it as a load for the amp and attach it to a drum seat and feel the bass in the studio but no real sound?

Overwater make some of the best basses in the world and their jazz's are great I also highly recommend going to the show room if you call a head Stu will most likely bring his orange one down for you to try. I've played it and it is a fantastic bass.

I'm wondering if someone is up for building me a box that allows me to use 2 8ohm cabs in series instead of parallel so that I can use them with my old tube amps that will only go as low as 8ohm. Cheers

This is an excellent condition Euphonics Audio NM410. This cab is the biggest and loudest cab EA do. I bought it because I use 2 CXL112's with my Iamp800 and I was looking for something lighter than the pair but just as big sounding but as time went on I stopped using the Iamp800 and went with a Mesa 400+ and now I'm looking at brand matching and getting away from EA cabs since I won't have their flagship amp (see other items for sale) so my loss is your gain. Blurb from the website Ultimate performance and portability. The EA NM-410 represents the state of the art in speaker cabinet design. The design goal of the NM-410 was to create a high power 4x10 cabinet that was loud, light weight, and provided a truly focused sound throughout the listening environment. More drivers mean more volume. More drivers also mean more interference between those drivers. This compromise, between volume and focus was, until now, a reality of playing 4x10 cabinets. The NM-410 changes all of that. The NM-410’s side vented, “M” shaped Transmission Line, proprietary Neodymium drivers, and innovative design have created a cabinet that is both extremely loud and presents a totally focused sound at any point in the listening environment. The imported Poplar plywood and Neodymium speakers keep this, the ultimate 4x10, at a reasonable 76 pounds. With all of the cutting edge design, technology and features such as its built in wheels, the NM-410 is truly the envy of the class. More Volume, Massive Tone, Less Weight! Configuration: 4 x 10" Woofer: 4 Custom Neodymium Kevlar 10" Tweeter: 1" Titanium Compression Driver Tweeter Level Control: located on rear connection panel Frequency Response: 45Hz to 14kHz Sensitivity: 103dB @ 1m Sound Pressure Level: 133dB @ 1m Power Handling: 1000 watts Impedance: 8 ohm Connection: Two Speakon Size: 25"W x 22"H x 18"D Weight: 76 lbs (34.5 kg) Handle: One removable handle & integrated casters The cab is in excellent condition and I have the screws for the speaker grill I just took them out so I could remove the grill for the Auction pictures, it comes with a removable telescopic handle and has built in casters so it's a dream to move and really with the Neo speakers its an easy one person lift. These cabs retail for around £1300 and there are very few in the country. Ideally I want £700 for this cab but I'm open to offers. Cheers
