So this is basically my misc pedalboard that I put together from stuff that didn't make it on to my big board or my band board. So up for sale is the following Boss FZ-2 - £50 Digitech PDS2000 - £60 Guyatone SV-2 - Sold Dod FX25 (Dark Green not Sparkly) - £50 Tone Factor Huckleberry (Purple Sparkle) - £55 Pedaltrain Jr with Softcase - Sold Danelectro Daddy O - £20 All pedals are in good/great condition and I have boxes for a lot of them. I'll include postage in these prices if you buy more than 1 item, else there will be a few quid more for postage which will normally be special delivery. You can see them here Aria FL-10 isn't for sale unless some one offers me stupid money for it. Also not really looking for trades unless your Ahpook. Cheers

Ok so you all know how much I love the original Huckleberry from Tone Factor. Basically I figured since the Huck was the best fuzz I've ever had I really owe it to myself to try the V2 as it was confirmed it could do all the sounds the V1 could plus it had that additional "Juice" control so I didn't really have anything to lose and I hoped I would gain the ability for the Huck to work with active basses without an impedance buffer. Well it does, it works with active basses currently I've only tried it with my Valenti Jazz 4 string but thats the worse bass for fuzz's anyway it uses a fishman voltage double to get the circuit up to 18v inside the bass and you can get weird noise issues and it doesn't react like a lot of other active basses. Now I will say it sounds better with an impedance buffer there but I can easily use the Huck v2 on it's own by just adjusting the juice knob. Now if you take into consideration the Juice knob dimed will get you those original Huck sounds I've got it set at about 9 o clock to get it to work with this bass which meant I had to crank the volume and gain up a bit more to get the tones I wanted, but the important thing is the tones I wanted are there plus many more, I can get more gated fuzz tones which the huck v1 did when you didn't want with an active so now you can dial them in and out. So when it went on my board I ended up putting it back in the loop of my impedance buffer for a few reasons. 1. I've used the Huck in a blender for so long I can't not play withput having the 2 sounds at my toe tips 2. It sounds more consistent with all my basses as I use a selection of active and passive basses none with the same preamps or pickups. 3. I would have had the barge sitting around if I hadn't and it adds another dimension to my sound. So this is just the initial review folks, I'll do a more in depth one as I play with it more but basically if you were thinking of getting the Huckleberry v1 somewhere get the v2 as it gives you everything and more. Soundclips coming soon. Enjoy

A fantastic volume swell pedal that I wo0n't be needing soon as I'm getting not one but 2 volume pedals The pedal is in mint condtion though it has one slight issue that I have resolved, when the battery clip is floating around inside the pedal it wouldn't work so it is gaffa'd to the side of the pedal and there is no issue with it what so ever, I bought it like this an was not told of this fault but hey ho fixed now cos I'm so smart. I've also put a bit of velcro to stick it to pedal boards on it (Your welcome) Comes with box that is a bit tatty but it's only going to go in a box under the bed or something right? WITHDRAWN Cheers

Band Board Signal chain is Pedalboard patchbay jack 1 (Being the closest) -> Pedalboard Junction Custom AB/Loop/ABY Box - (Loop) Tone Factor Nipple Pink Cream Pie - Tone Factor Bass Mod Fuzz Saw - Boomstick Bottom Feeder - Tone Factor Bongomania Modded Pulp Mill - Peterson Strobe O Stomp - (Loop) - Pedalboard Junction Custom AB/Loop/ABY Box to Pedalboard patch bay jack 3 and 4 to Mesa 400+ ch1 and 2. Pedalboard patchbay jack 2 is for the Mesa EQ footswitch, all this hooks up via a custom pedalsnake with 3 cables (Output 1,2 and Footswitch) and a Powercon connector. Another pic of my big board Not posting any more pics of this till it's done. Pedalboard of misc stuff for other people who are a bit light on pedals to use. Basically it's the pedals I can't sell but aren't boutique enough to go on one of my boards (OOOOOO how Toasted of me :ninja:) So to sum up I took the Boomstick Bottom Feeder off my big board because I couldn't bare to not have it on gigs with me, but because I need it on my big board I'll be getting another one in my big box of toys coming from Tone Factor as soon as I can afford it. I've redone my band board in the Canere cable Bongo sent me, it's as short as possible now and very neat and tidy and ready to get destroyed on gigs but hey. The misc board I'm waiting on a modded Dod grunge and then I'll wire it all up with cheap cables and put a shredfreak power supply on there with a diago daisy chain. Big board you can see when it's done. Enjoy
Here's mine, which I doubt I'll ever finish: Lacking any modulation, and needing a couple of loops. (and clearly in need of a set of GeorgeL's!) Might have to bin either the Qtron or Bassballs to make room, but I'll see how it goes.
I've still got some straight george l jacks if you are interested £2 per jack.
Well here is mine. I am looking into having a case made to fit them or possibly just the Vbass because if I am honest I don't use the FBV THAT much...
Can't you use midi to the Pod so the V-bass can control it like the FBV would? Surely the V-bass can change the patches etc
Fair enough. Out of interest what does that do that a synth can't?
Well since it's effect pedals there are the following effects you can use as normal pedals Fuzz Filter FM Modulator which can be everything from a synthy fuzz to a ring modulator Delay Noise Box which is the best analog bass synth effect you can buy.
Why not just buy a small synth and then be able to make it actually fit the music if you wanted?
Because what I've bought and setup here does what I want and many other things that you could never do with a synth.

The key of agony

Something I've been working on as half of my board to basically create weird noise to sit under melodic chords. This is with no bass plugged in Here you go http://grygrx.net/bass/tayste/Tayste's...Noise/Synth.mp3 Starts with just a Catalinbread V8 then I turn on the feedback loop it's in then I turn it off and turn the Subdecay Fembot Proto on and then the Subdecay Gurgle and Moan Proto then that gets turned off and the Subdecay Noise Box gets turned on then the Gurgle comes on again and then I turn the Subdecay Echobox Proto on and use the time knob to pitch shift and gurgle it, after that I have no clue what I did but near the middle to end I started using the chorus so you can hear the throb I want the trem to achieve which really isn't doing it for me currently the chorus doesn't have the depth or speed I need and it changes the tone to much. At this point I'm missing my looper and the trem so I can do all the extra pitch shifting, reverse, fake sample and hold I can do with the delay but it's quite listenable when I'm turning the knobs but if I was playing over it, it would be like the later sounds with just the throb to give it that movement. But anyway enjoy
